stuffing some cracks to reduce drafts

The poly foam rope weatherstripping came in very handy while trying to reduce cold seepage in my home’s many windows.

This item worked just as expected, and it’s reasonably priced.

This weather strip product was easy to use. It fit into the spaces well. I will definitely buy this again when I need more of it.

Used it as backer rod for caulk. Worked well.

It fit perfectly where I needed it.

Just what was needed to close the gap between the house foundation and the concrete patio slab. The poly foam backer rod is easy to place into cracks about 1/2 inches in diameter and it saves the amount of caulk needed for sealing. I highly recommend this foam tape weatherstrip caulk saver.

Simple product. Worked as needed for the application.

Worked well to fill in the gap between the counter and the backsplash prior to sealing with caulking grout.

Stuffing the rod in big gaps helps save your caulk.

The description is incorrect. Twenty FEET of material, not inches. It worked great as a replacement for a long deteriorated foam seal on the back plate of a shower valve cover plate. Also a great crack filler/backer rod to reduce caulk needed for driveway crack filling or bath vanity back/side splash in my case.

Same as backer rod at Lowe’s, but less expensive.

Works great. I used a screw driver to force it between the butt ends of two hardboard siding boards (at a corner) before caulking. It saved me at least one tube of caulk.

description is confusing. foam weatherstripping is not the same as caulk saver!!

It worked quite well for the gaps we wanted to fill between removable and semi-permanent parts of our fifth wheel trailer and the air-conditioner distribution panels without using caulking.
