Bad design
Terrible design regarding usable storage space inside refeigerator. There is no cheese/ meat drawer, no butter storage space, and top shelf for tall items is obscured by a dropped light. Really, what were you thinking?

Small than expected
The capacity is a lot smaller than I though and does'nt have a lot of features. I bought online and never saw the product in person. I probably would of opted for a litter higher end item. However, it works and keeps the food cool and produces ice.

Nice fridge in camper
It's a nice bright refrigerator. For camper use it would be nice to have an on and off switch. Ice cubes are smaller than ice tray cubes but works great! It has a night light for night use. Freezes very quickly and you can turn it down to -6 to make Popsicles faster.

Not pleased
There is no lock on wheels so the refrigerator moves a lot when opening it. Storage shelves pretty flimsy. Should have gotten a Kitchen Aide.

Would not recommend this unit, poor lighting, inefficient use of inside space. Leveling process poor, and no wheel lock to keep from moving on tile surface. NOT A GOOD PURCHASE

We can understand how upsetting it is when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations and will be certain to share your feedback with our engineering and design teams. The sturdy rollers on the refrigerator have three purposes: Rollers adjust so the door closes easily when opened about halfway. Rollers adjust so the refrigerator is firmly positioned on the floor and does not wobble. Rollers allow you to move the refrigerator away from the wall for cleaning. Counter-depth styles also have rear adjustable rollers so you can align the refrigerator with your kitchen cabinets. Note: Due to the size of the doors and the strength of the door gaskets, it is possible that the refrigerator could roll or move when one of the doors is opened. Since the wheels or rollers do not lock in place, it may help to place a piece of wood, a small wood wedge or plastic furniture coaster with felt on the bottom under the wheels or rollers to prevent rolling. We recommend re-leveling the refrigerator after doing this, if necessary. It is our hope that the more you use your refrigerator the more you will like it.

Lasted only 2 1/2 years!!!
We have had to spend over $500.00 to repair this model # GZS22DSJSS. We had a GE PROFILE that lasted 14 years! We can't believe it, but it is true.

Sleek and stylish design
This was a replacement for an older refrigerator of the same brand, size, and style. This model is sleeker and more energy efficient. The shelves on the refrigerator side could have more options for adjusting up or down, and an additional drawer would be nice.

The Sleek Black GE Refrigerator
The Product is exactly what we were looking for. Although we were not able to look at the product at the Store but had to review the product via the computer on the store. It had the SIDE by Side Feature, the Water Dispenser and Ice Maker both pluses in our book. It was sleek and had a great finish in Black. The Appliance was easy to unpack. It was easy to remove the packing material and install the additional covers to the shelves.

BADBADBAD
Awful fridge. Overhead lights and icemaker take up most of the top shelves.
Icemaker auger is breaking into pieces which is dangerous because the shards of plastic are the same color as the ice. these end up in your drinking glass. plus it now takes forever for the ice to drop. i had to replace the freezer light after 1 year. capacity is weak. stainless steel isn't so stainless. i will be replacing this unit after only 3 years.

AWFUL FRIDGE
overhead lights take up way too much space.
fingerprints are hard to remove, had to replace freezer light 2X in 3 years.
plastic auger that feeds the ice is breaking off in pieces, this is dangerous as the
plastic shards end up in your drinking glass, plus it now takes forever to get ice to drop.
we paid a lot of money but have to replace this unit after only 3 years.

I was so pleased to find options of size and color. My previous refrigerator was a GE Profile and provided great service for many years.I find the new design of the ice maker a favorable change as well as the room on the top shelf for tall items. Thank you GE!

Great mechanically, functionality could be better
Refrigerator functions well and has a great reputation for reliability. It does not use the space well. It could use at least one more shelf in both the freezer and cold storage area, another shelf in the cold storage door, and it could use a deli drawer. Due to the curved front on the shelves, we could not install after-market pull-out drawers. We are putting in shelf organizer racks. The shelf inserts in the freezer door might hold boxes, but they are too short to hold flexible bags. We replaced an LG because we believe that the GE will handle basic temperature control better, but the LG had better user functionality.

Nice side-by-side
This side-by-side has more room (shelving) in the refrigerator side than my last one. Roomier. (Only downside = Would like better shelving on the freezer side)

Worked well for 2 years then issues began
Bought the fridge because it was a perfect fit for our retro remodeled kitchen. As others have mentioned however, the lighting is defintiely subpar and storage in freezer was designed by someone with no idea of how food is packaged here in America. Since buying we have had to replace the led strip in the freezer twice and had the sensor go bad for the freezer whereby the unit would consntantly cylce believing the unit was warmer than it was, causing a cascade effect. Stay away!
