Great box for a sub panel. Doesn't accept thin breakers but code for homes now requires GFCI or AFCI or a combination for virtually all circuits so you have to use thick breakers for virtually all circuits anyway.

Used this panel to install a 50A sub-panel since the main 100A load center was completely full. This allowed me to install 30A generator backfeed breaker with mechanical interlock in the upper two slots of the main panel as required for the interlock.

Good price good product.

I bought this to replace a faulty distribution panel in my home. 4 hrs not including drywall replacement. It is standard equipment quality. I replaced many of these through the years and for the most part they are pretty much the same. Remember that the breakers are prioritary.

I was pleased with product until I saw the your competitors price. The competition was a lot cheaper . I should have shopped around. The product was good it was what is looking for.

When the electrician work very easily doing the holes I recommend this panel box.

I like GE's PowerMark Gold line of panels with a plated copper bus , and reasonable pricing . Home Depot had the lowest price , very easy ordering , no charge for shipping , and they also take Pay Pal !

The first one was missing the entire bus and breakers. Not only did Home Depot make it good, they expidited shipping and gave me 10% off of next purchase! And they called ME!!! Now that's customer service! !!

Unacceptable. No Main Breaker. Should be noted in BOLD print "NO MAIN BREAKER".

The quality of the product is fine but it is advertised as convertible to a main breaker box, but when a main breaker is installed, the knockouts on the face plate don't match up with where the main breaker is located. I've asked for an answer to this question on the Home Depot question forum as well as calling the toll free number but to no avail. I can't in good conscience recommend this product until I receive a satisfactory answer.

My electrician could not find a compatible 200amp main to install in this box.

This is the third of these panels that we've installed in our ever-expanding home; they're easy to install and have ample knock-outs. The "contractor pack" contains an assortment of large-format single- and double-pole breakers which would probably increase the value proposition for some -- in our case they just end up in the spares box, as we prefer to use narrow format breakers where possible. The grounding bar is optional, so unless you're planning on lifting the jumper and using one of the neutral bars for ground you'll need to order that separately.

THE BUS WAS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY. NEEDED TO REMOVE SCREWS & REINSTALL BACK PANEL UNDER OPENINGS. THERE WAS A CRACK IN THE PLASTIC.

Will not take 1/2" breakers ---- only full size ones. You only get 24 spaces with 24 full size breakers. 2 pole breakers (aka 220volt) takes up 2 spaces.
