Easy install, no problems.

The door opener wasn’t hard to install and works well.

Needed the extension for mine Directions were bad as to where the extension fit in to the assembly

I’m happy with the unit, but the included instructions were for a screw drive not chain or belt. Thanks for the internet where I found helpful instructions. Plus the box had a hole in it and the chain adjuster bolt and plastic spacer were missing, was able to use the one from my old opener

The instructions is horrible wasn't even for a chain drive it's for a screw drive... and the instruction video genie has sucks... I will return it and get a different brand....

When I opened the box all the parts were there but the WRONG installation instructions had been packed . I had instructions for a "screw drive " garage door opener instead of the chain drive unit that I had purchased.I had to go on line and print the correct instructions. Once this was done the installation was straight forward. I was impressed with the quiet and smooth operation of the unit . I haven't owned the unit long enough to rate it's reliability .

Essay to install and super quite. Love my Genie.

The Genie was incomplete from the box. We didn't realize this until the installation tech pulled it out of the box and was assembling it. In addition, this was a chain drive, and the directions were for a cable drive. We had to disassemble the opener, repackage it, and I had to return it.

The opener is great and quiet!Putting together took hours as first they gave us the wrong instructions and then it just takes time longer than they say unless you’re a wiz with this stuff!

It works like our previous opener. It's functional and does the job. It is noisier than our previous and jars the door open but moves slower.

Directions are not user friendly and chain from factory had a twist that required disassembly of chain and straightening out before instal thankfull it was noticed before hanging up

It lifts my old Crawford solid wood double door with ease. It is very quiet, and powerful. I replaced a 40 yr old Sears opener with this one.

good i feel smart

very hard to program limit switches, with out the card overheating, which i didnt know until i call genie telephone help, and she told me that the card was overheated and to wait 45 minutes and try again (not in book troubleshooting) very finicky programming, still cant get one car remote to work, will look at different brand (price, availability ) next time

Overall I would rate the door opener as good to excellent. It opens the door smoother and quieter than the previous opener. I cannot give it an excellent ratting because it is too soon to evaluate the quality. The chain rail to me seems flimsy and there are plastic parts in the chain guide system that may give problems in the future

Great product, quiet and efficient. Great service on the installation.

Works great. Started off very frustrating. Had to completely disassemble to untangle the chain but once that was done, very easy install. Programming the remotes, exterior key pad and the interior pad was the hardest part. Probably would have been easier with 2 people. I would highly recommend this product to everyone. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the chain being tangled.

Self installed. Works great. Quiet and smooth. Directions could be bit better. Novice may struggle. Two issues. Chain was so tangled that after an hour of trying to untangle it, I had to unhook one end to straighten. Be very careful with chain when opening box. Manufacturer should fold and wrap chain for transport to remedy this. I incorrectly assumed this purchase included an outside keypad opener and paid more than another large online retailer that did include this option.

All went well. Happy with results. Quiet.
