Removed mini blind from kitchen door because it obstructed door...
Removed mini blind from kitchen door because it obstructed door knob and chain lock. Put Gila Faux Shades widow film up.Simple to do, looks great, and solved the problem.

We didn't want blinds on the two side windows that frame a large picture window so we bought the ...
We didn't want blinds on the two side windows that frame a large picture window so we bought the Gila Privacy Control Faux Shades Window Film. We have the film on the lower portion of the side windows to give us privacy. The film looks like the other blinds on our windows except they are always closed and allow light to pass thru.
Total privacy - You cannot see out nor can you see in regardless of the time of day!

I've used this product before. It's great for providing privacy, yet it still lets in the light during the day. At a distance, it looks like real blinds. The application is easy, a spray bottle and a squeegee makes quick work of this project. An extra pair of hands is also helpful for the initial placement of the film on your window. It looks great and was just what I needed.

Found a video on YouTube from Gila, follow the simple instructions, bought the spray applicator and BAM! Up and beautiful! We wish we would have done it long before!! Very happy with product!!!

This is what I was hoping for. It lets the light in but provides privacy. Fairly easy to install but had to work to get the bubbles out. I recommend this product if you are willing and able to spend time getting all the bubbles smooth.

I was surprised that neither factory edge on the ends of both rolls was cut squarely. My film had a horizontal pattern so it was easy enough to correct but...four factory edges not cut squarely? Really??
