I used the old adage, "Preparation and careful foundation-laying will make the job go easy." After carefully laying out the overhead brackets and measuring to ensure that the hanging portion of the bracket was correct, I got some friends to help lift the rack up there. It fit right in the first try! (I left brackets slightly loose to take up any give & take; I highly recommend doing this.) After tightening everything, the rack was very solid and gave me a lot of confidence that lit would work. Loading it up was easy; I am very happy with the typical Gladiator quality (I've got lots of other Gladiator products). I highly recommend this product to others. Just make sure to get that initial layout correct!

Definitely need two people to lift the lower assembly after mounting the brackets. End result was great.

Well designed. I had to mount mine in a garage where the ceiling was drywalled, so it was tough to get the measurements correct to mount the brackets. I made a simple template and that helped a lot. It's strong & flexible, well worth the price.

Bought two of these storage racks. They are well made, easy to assemble, and easy to hang if you do haft the rack at a time. I would buy again.

I bought three 96” kits, thinking I could use one 16’ across the front of the double door and one 8’ across the single bay. I ended up using one 12’ in the double bay and a 4’ in the single bay. Installation was time consuming and difficult for one person. But once installed, these are extremely strong and rigid loft storage. Works great for us.

Works great, but had an installation issue. Either the bolt is not exact to size or the bit I used was not exact to size. I had to buy a different bit of the same size. Also, i think possibly the screws were not strong enough and i broke 2. I dont thinn it was user error.

I have to say that I am 100% satisfied and happy with the construction and quality of my product. It was not as hard as I thought to put up. IT took me a friend about 2 1/2 hours start to finish. I took the advise of some others and bought diff lag bolts and didn't use the ones that came with it, but I am sure I could have. I was able to store a great deal of stuff and get it off my garage floor.

Unit is exactly as portrayed, instructions suggest using a helper, but I got it installed myself by installing two eye hooks at each end of the base and hoisting the base up to the legs. Worked well. I would recommend this shelving to anyone.

Upon install of this overhead storage, several bolts broke! I reported to Gladiator, who indicated they have had numerous complaints. Bolts that can't handle install aren't sound to support heavy overhead storage. This is an accident waiting to happen.

Good materials Nd design

The hardest part of the installation was finding the studs in the ceiling. Gladiator had made it relatively easy to install. I did need help lifting the unit up in the air but it was a cinch to hang.
