Yes, it is a sturdy unit with supports in the middle, making it a sturdier unit. I purchased 2 units, one above and on each side of overhead garage door. It’s close enough for long boards to suspend from both units. Used suggestions of others to use stronger bolts, because of shearing, & machine screws vs. pins which move to secure better. We secured hangers first, then used 2 long straps to raise the base with angled supports to attach to hangers. This allowed 1 person to install.

Great product. Only problem is corner brackets holes did b Not line up. Had to modify bolt holes in order to install corner bolts.

I install a lot of home accessories, and I am very critical because I’m usually disappointed. This one is excellent! It fits, it’s quality, it’s simple to install (as long as you’re comfortable finding studs) and the fasteners are right for the job. Note; the instructions refer to a 3/16 drill bit (included). It is NOT included, so you’ll need to get one. Buy this product with confidence.

This is my second purchase of this item and I love it. The overhead storage is very good quality in my opinion. It’s very sturdy and Heavy Duty. The issue that I had was with Home Depot. When I received the package, the box was very damaged and had holes in it. While opening the package, I found that the rack and framing was bent in several spots. I did not expect the service to be this poor from this business.
