Installing the hose is too complicated
I could not use it because I couldn't install the hose. The instructions are simple, remove sticker, open flip top, firmly insert red hose tip. I can't figure out how to do that. I don't see a red hose tip, I got black tip... and I try to insert it and there's no way it will go in. The body of the container is already bending when I try to press the tip firmly. But why does it have to be this difficult. I just wanna spray it on the weeds. Previous product I bought from you, it had the hose attached to the cap and all I need to do is replace the container cap with it and I'm done. I will most likely return this item if I can't find any directions online.

Effective weed control
This weed killer is amazing. I sprayed it on a test area and, in the sun, within 4-6 hours the vegetation was visibly very stressed. The next day it was all completely brown. The area not sprayed was fine. The spray needs to hit leaves or blades of grass. If some leaves block the spray from leaves underneath, the lower leaves will still be green and require a second spraying. This works great for weeds coming up through a brick pavement. There is a definite smell but it dissipates. The tall grass in a corner required three or four sprayings. The sprayer works great. The instructions are clear. I sprayed some weeds in the evening. Overnight they became wilted and then turned brown in the sun.

Seems to work well
I like the idea of not using chemicals more than I have to especially when it comes to spraying them around outdoors. You can certainly smell the vinegar when you use this but it makes feel as though I am cooking instead of killing weeds. I had my doubts but after a day, several things I sprayed turned yellow. After a few days some English Ivy leaves turned brown and wrinkled yellow. Not sure what the long term effect will be but so far it is encouraging.

Potent
Green Gobbler 20% Vinegar Weed Killer worked as indicated. I placed stone pepples around the perimeter of my home; however I fight weeds each year that come up through the pepples. I would utilize foliage killer to get rid of these weeds. Green Gobbler appears to be more eco friendly. I had to wait for a dry less windy day to apply the vinegar weed killer. You have to be careful to not get this weed killer on any plants you want or lawn it will kill everything you spray it on. This would be great for sidewalks and driveways where weeds come up through the cracks just be careful of drift.

Makes you crave salad with vinigarette
Okay, the jury is still out on this GREEN GOBBLER product. It SHOULD work! SHOULD, but my weeds may just be too resistant. I don't know if it killed them so much as it stunned them... it's been a few days, so time will tell. AND GREEN GOBBLER smells like VINEGAR! WOO! The spray nozzle worked well and I felt better for the environment because vinegar is something that's natural. Yeah, yeah... Oddly enough though, my wife wanted to borrow some GREEN GOBBLER to clean some seashells. It seemed to clean those shells all right... so there's another application. Stuns weeds, cleans shells, makes you crave a salad.

Great Weed Spray
This vinegar based weed spray works great. I sprayed in on the weeds growing in an area where it is hard to pull the weeds. cracks in sidewalk and along garden edging. It is in an easy to use pump spray bottle. As you spray it you can smell the vinegar even though there is only 20% in the bottle. This spray can be used on a variety of broad leaf weeds. It can also be used around food crops, do not spray on food crops. Use on weeds that are just coming up.

This stuff rocks!
Here in Idaho we have some tough weeds, and lots of them. To test his product out, I had found a "walkway of weeds", in my back yard. It was late afternoon and after the recommended time to apply it, so I really didn't expect much action, especially with a light rain that evening. I checked it the next morning, and to my surprise this product had wiped out every weed I sprayed, overnight. Great stuff!

Effective and safe
This comes in a cardboard box measuring 14.5” tall and 7” square and is packed with bubble wrap, so is secure and doesn’t flop around during shipping. The spray handle/nozzle comes in a small Ziplock with the instructions. You will need to attach the nozzle to the top of the container. It assembles easily. The tube that feeds down into the container is 34” long which makes it easy to hold the jug in one hand and spray with the other and plenty of hose to use up the last little bit of liquid. There is a little stopper (see pic) on the tube which helps lock it in place once you’ve decided upon the length of tube you want to use. The nozzle can be adjusted anywhere between a stream and a fine spray which is very convenient. Make sure after you spray and you are storing the container, you have the end of the nozzle higher than the level of the liquid left in the container or it will drip. This spray only works in conjunction with the sun. The vegetation you spray it on needs to get several hours of direct sunlight a day in order for the vinegar to do its job. Additionally, vinegar has its limitations: it will burn the leaves of plants that have long/strong tap roots (dandelions, etc.) but won’t kill them off. It also doesn't work well on plants with thick, fleshy leaves (see pics). This works on plants that do not have a strong or substantial root system unless you spray it EVERY time more leaves show. Vinegar works on depriving the root system of the leaves it needs to assimilate nutrients by burning the leaves off, so as long as you can deprive the root system of the leaves it needs, it’ll work. The very best time to use it is when weeds are just starting to sprout. I really like having this as an option as it’s safe for the environment, easy to use and non-toxic for critters and kids and no residuals to worry about for the good bugs in my garden.

A biodegradable weed killer
The Green Gobbler 32 fl. oz. 20% Vinegar Weed Killer is easy to use and it is super effective. I tried it on dandelions and crabgrass and it works light magic. The weeds all dried up and turned brown in about two hours. The vinegar weed killer does smell quite strong so I recommend wearing a mask when applying. I like it is biodegradable and friendly to the environment. This is a great product.

Does the job well enough
I've been using 30% vinegar to kill weeds instead of popular toxic chemicals for a while now. I thought it was time to try 20% a try because having options is good. Like using any harsh chemical, it's a good idea to wear nitrile, latex, or similar liquid-proof gloves and close-toed shoes when using this product...ESPECIALLY with the sprayer on this bottle. The nozzle has two settings, mist and off. When misting you get a cloud of vinegar that is easily moved by a breeze, so it is possible to have blowback getting on your feet and hands. Pros: - It kills weeds without having to worry about toxic chemicals getting into the groundwater. - No mixing. There is no need to add dish soap, Epsom salt, or any other ingredient normally recommended for homemade kitchen strength (5%) vinegar. Cons: - The weaker strength takes slightly longer to kill the weeds (maybe a few hours longer, so a pretty minor con) - The nozzle sprays over a large area, so targeting specific seeds next to desired garden plants is difficult unless you very nearly touch the weed. That means a lot of bending over. I would recommend this product be used with a wand-style pump sprayer (get a high-quality one to stand up to the acetic acid of the vinegar). In that way, you can target specific weeds among your plants without breaking your back.

Works well so far
I’ve been reading about vinegar-based weed killers for a while so I was wanting to try one myself. The bottle and included sprayer works well, but it’ll take a bit to see how effective it is at taking care of the weeds and grass. One slight downside is the very strong odor when applying. It’s definitely vinegar and you can certainly tell when applying. Overall this seems to work and will be a good alternative to some other chemicals available.

Very happy with its ability to quickly kill weeds.
I been using this Green Gobbler 20% vinegar weed killer for about two weeks and am already impressed with its ability to quickly kill weeds. This vinegar solution eliminates weeds and grasses without the use of harsh chemicals that linger in the soil. I highly recommend this product. Note, carefully read the application and handling safety instructions. Per the warning label vinegar at this strength requires careful handling. See attached photos.

Better choice than harsh chemical-based herbicides.
I’ve lost multiple trees, shrubs, and flowers by using chemical herbicides too close to the vegetation. We still need weed control but some of the available products are simply too strong. This vinegar-based herbicide is effective but won’t linger on like chemical-based products do, causing incidental contact with creeping root systems of the plants you want to keep. The trigger sprayer allows controlled application which enables drift management control. After testing the product on some sporadic early-season weeds, the results were noticeable the next day. There is an easily-detected smell of vinegar when using but it dissipates quite fast. After doing some additional research, I would not recommend using it for vegetable gardens. It will likely cause damage to garden plants. Otherwise, for weed control around trees, flower beds, pavers, and ornamental shrubs, this is the product to use!

This vinegar weed killer gets the job done!
This Vinegar Weed Killer by Green Gobbler, gets the job done quickly. It comes ready to use in a one-gallon jug, complete with hand trigger pump-sprayer. It works quickly. The weeds I sprayed it on were almost totally dead within 24 hours. Note: this product kills ALL vegetation you spray it on, so if you are using it on weeds in your lawn, be careful, as it will kill the "good" grass too!

good natural weed killer
I used this weed killer on some of the weeds growing in my front walkway to my home and it took care of those weeds within a couple of days. It seems to be a relatively "mild" weed killer, but it did come with some scary warnings to not allow it to touch my skin, especially my eyes. Yet, it took around a day or two to take care of the weeds. Some needed a second treatment, which is not bad. It is good to use close to the grass on my lawn since it is more mild. It comes with a nice spray attachment to the bottle. There was also a note that came with the solution to call the manufacturer if I ever have any problems with the sprayer. This is a big plus because it sounds like they stand behind their products.

Quick, Effective & Saves Time Weed Killer
I was really surprised to see a vinegar solution with 20% vinegar when I have only been able to buy up to 6% at the grocery store. We’ve been using a homemade organic solution for a couple years and it’s been working just ok. But I jumped on getting this when I saw it, and it’s also organic. I applied the solution at 11:00am when it was about 70 degrees. I checked the weeds 7 hours later and the weeds are in various stages of dying. We have synthetic grass so the edges are prone to weeds growing. This solution works quickly but I need a straight stream, not a spray because I need a direct hit to the weed and not a broad area. All of the weeds will die and it sure saves me a ton of time trying to pull each weed out by the root. Made in the USA!

Like hiring a professional assassin !
I got this two days ago, first thing I noticed is it really smells like vinegar. I sprayed this annoying vine that is trying to take over the world, starting with my yard, and bam! Two days later, dead. ☠️. Some of the bigger sprouts are trying to hang on, but they don’t look good and I sprayed them again today. I first noticed the death and destruction within the first couple of hours. So far it has not killed me or the dogs. I am impressed.

Amazing
I have heard of instant results but never really experienced it until this product. The result was almost instantaneous. Sprayed it on and within a day, the weed dried out. It is indeed a quick acting product and with 20% vinegar, it is environmentally friendly. This is a safer alternatives to all those harmful chemicals or there. This product completely eliminates weeds without putting the environment at risk. Care should be taken while using it as one needs to avoid spraying it on healthy grass and plants. This is an awesome product and o highly recommend it.

Strong smell
I gave it 4 stars because of the smell. I know it’s vinegar but it’s really powerful. The spray bottle is nice and easy to use. The spray is a nice mist I gave a couple of squirts on each weed because the instructions say if you over use it maybe it could cause etching on the concrete. The product does work the weeds look kind of burnt my thing is it probably won’t kill to the root and so the weeds coming back. Anyway, if organic is your thing then this is probably for you.

Vinegar Killer
This 0% Vinegar Weed Killer is very quick-acting, vinegar spray really kills weeds pretty quickly. It has an organic acid that degrades very quickly in the soil and kills weeds pretty quickly as well as weedy type grasses. The handle is easy to hold and spray a good enough distance to cover a sufficient area, but not over-do it as well. Look forward to killing so wild weeds.

Works well, DO read the directions.
First thing to know, just because this is vinegar don’t assume you can treat it like your typical kitchen vinegar. It’s 20% acetic acid, vs about 5% acid for the kitchen stuff, and it will burn whatever it touches. Second thing to know is, it works. Vinegar is not a systemic herbicide, nor is it a selective one. It’s an acid that kills plants by burning what it touches. So you may find that larger weeds with well established roots may eventually regrow but Green Gobbler is pretty effective at quickly taking out smaller plants / weeds. When wet it can also kill insects, worms, frogs, etc., but the spray dries and degrades quickly so the area sprayed should be safe to work in the next day. I find Green Gobbler to be very effective for spot treating new / small weeds in areas where I don’t want any residual herbicidal effects. The front of the Green Gobbler spray bottle says it best: “Danger: If you don’t understand the label, find someone to explain it to you”.

Impressive initial results, will reapply continuously
Using this product to kill Ground Ivy (one of the targets listed for the product), also known as Creeping Charlie, the weed went from bright green to completely brown within less than 24 hours of application. These are good results. Since I have tried unsuccessfully to kill this weed organically in the past, I will reapply this Green Gobbler product, until this weed is permanently gone. It can come back from tiny root filaments. Based on these initial results, I think that if I keep after it, I will be able to kill it.

I really like the fact that this weed killer is fast acting.
I have tried this weed killer on a variety of weeds and found that a lot of them seem to die the same day. Too often a weed killer takes a week or more to work. I find it very handy to have the sprayer for the gallon container so I don’t have to transfer the weed killer to another container to apply the weed killer. Unfortunately, the spray nozzle that came with the weed killer was defective and wouldn’t work. However, I had a sprayer from an old gallon container that did work. I like the fact that this I can use this is an organic weed killer that I can safely use near my apple trees. The pictures of weeds that I attached were sprayed a couple of days before I took the pictures. One of the picture is of a weed before I sprayed it. I only gave it four stars because of the defective sprayer.

Not rain proof.
I am vary dispointed with this weed killer. I wanted it to kill weeds in my yard where my dogs are. But after reading the safety wornings, I changed my mind. The everything killer I use is safer. This product will do permanent eye damage if you get it in your eyes. It has been raining a lot, so I had to wait until they were predicting a couple of sunny days with no rain. Well, the weather forcast was wrong. About 6 hours after applying it, we got a brief shower, and it must have washed it off. End results, no weeds killed.

Response from Weiman BrandsJun 19, 2023
We are sorry to hear of your disappointment that the products results weren't to your satisfaction. Our 20% Vinegar Weed Killer is a non-selective herbicide derived from corn. It can be used to kill all types of weeds, including dandelions, crabgrass, and other annual and perennial weeds. We recommend spraying unwanted weeds or grass to the point of wetness in full sunshine for the best results.

Excellent For Spot Spraying Use
Super easy to use point and shoot grass & weed killer. This uses vinegar that is at a higher grade and composition that kitchen vinegar. It says it is all natural and does not use bleach or other poisons. If you do have a swath of grass to take care of, be sure to use cardboard or something to limit the impact of the spray zone area. I used it on cloverweed and dandelions. I have crab grass too, so this is great for spot spraying. From the initial spray to seeing things dead is about a day or so. Try to use it on a sunny day, per the directions. And do not water your lawn for 24 hours or like other weed killers, it will spread the impact! You will definitely know it is vinegar. It smells. Also, this container only does the spray-mist. It does not do a spray-beam.

This Is Good Stuff
This is effective weed and grass killer for certain perennial grasses like crab grass, cloverweed, chickweed, dandelions, etc. I used it on some dandelion & clover spots and it took care of them! I also use this on cracks in the sidewalk that inevitably get grass growing! Be careful not to over-spray because it will take out good grass too. The best part of this type of grass/weed killer is that it uses vinegar! There are no bleaches or poisons. No dilution required for the big jug either. I would say the overall spraying of a live weed to seeing a dead weed took about a day in sunny & dry weather. This product does indeed smell like vinegar! The spray handle took some time to get it to work. I read the directions -- yes, it comes with nozzle directions, but still took time to get it pumping. Once it started, it was easy to use. The sprayer nozzle does both spray beam and spray mist.

It kills everything. sort of. Its pretty safe
Not apparent when reading the label but it will kill grass and the weeds so be selective where you spray. The nozzle sprays a circular pattern of fine droplets. It kills the grean leafy part of the plant, not the roots. if the plant is mature or fairly big you will have to use multiple applications to use up the energy stored in the roots. More work but if your looking for something that is safe for the environment this is a good choice. For me I will walk around and spray the weeds I see. then come back and pull them if they are really big when I have time. I find it is better to no pull small plants in the yard as it just leaves holes and lets more weeds grow. better to keep up on your fertilizer regimen. Pretty easy to target just the plant without overspray. I was able to get tiny weeds about the size of a nickel. Plants turn white or yellow. easy to see they were sprayed.

Works Fast
It appears that the Green Gobbler 20% Vinegar Weed Killer works. The spray pattern is a fine, wide mist, providing good coverage. I applied it to several spurge and some other unknown weeds. I photographed them before application. After 24 hours, I could only find 1 of them, but after 48 hours, I could not find any of them for photos. Apparently the desiccation was so effective that they simply shriveled up and disappeared. I generally use systemic type herbicides because they kill down to the roots very effectively. IN fact, that was just done about 2 weeks prior to this test. However, there are known safety issues with them, so I’m not fond of using them. This 20% vinegar product has no real long-term safety issues. However, like most herbicides it is non-selective, so care must be taken to avoid getting it on desirable plants. The only concern I have with this product is coverage. The 32 oz. is rated for only about 100 sq. ft. Our bare dirt weed area is around 5,000 sq. ft. I think it will be good for spot weeding sparse, new, young weeds between the main weed seasons.

Vinegar-Based Weed Killer Works Quickly
I was impressed with the Green Gobbler 20% Vinegar Weed Killer in the 1 gallon sprayer. First, the sprayer itself is convenient--a 2-foot hose pulls out of the nozzle to provide sufficient distance to hold the canister in one hand and direct the spray in the other. The liquid has a pungent, vinegary odor that I disliked but the tradeoff was to rely on other products that are not as environmentally friendly. I tested this product on various weeds, including Johnson grass, and was amazed that they all were brown and dying within four days after a single application.

Works Okay but Frustrating Experience
Okay, first let's talk about the bad packaging. "There ought to be a law". A big pet peeve of mine is the recent use of tiny unreadable text being used on so many products. Look at this package. It says "DANGER" followed by hundreds of tiny text words that no one in their right mind is going to read before using the product. Seriously? Do you expect us to use a magnifying glass to read all that information? Then there is the sprayer. Instruction #4 listed on the side if the jug says "Hold sprayer below level of bottle . . . " Realize the sprayer is on a tube that is only 3 inches long. How are you supposed to hold it below the level of the bottle? Can't be done. Now add to that the fact that the sprayer just will not work. I made several attempts to pump the product but it just will not spray no matter what I do. So this has been a very frustrating product to use and I would not buy it again at least in this container. Now to be fair to the product I poured some into another spray bottle to see how the product actually worked. After spraying some grass and weeds (in the sun) they did start turning brown after a couple of hours and were mostly brown the next day. However realize that the weeds are probably just burnt and not dead. This product and similar ones do not kill to the root. They will revive and come back soon unless you pluck them out. I have an issue with that premise since I could just pluck them out in the first place while they are still green. Sorry, maybe I am being too critical but this process does not save me time or money. I can't recommend this product.
