This garden bed is made of high quality cedar. The pieces are cut perfectly so I was able to assemble in less than one hour. Next year, I may buy another one, attach it to this one to make it even larger.

I'm 64 years old. It took me an hour and a half to put together, line with landscape material, and fill with dirt. I did this by myself. The cedar is strong enough to hold in the dirt, and high enough to plant my vegetable garden. It also smells great! I do advise you to count on 30 bags of dirt to fill the 8' x 4' raised garden. I used specific vegetable garden soil and mixed it with topsoil.

This garden kit was of reasonable quality, easy to assemble and works perfect for what I was looking for in a 4x8 backyard garden.

As a single female, I was a little worried about how much work it would be to build a raised garden by myself. Thankfully, this product is available because it was a BREEZE! It is good quality wood (cedar) and it went together very easily (didn't need instruction) and took less than 30 minutes. The hardest part was filling it with my neighbor's compost. I definitely recommend this product! I also like the fact that I can continue to increase the size of my garden by simply adding additional kits. I have gotten a ton of compliments on my garden so far.

This was a easy to do project and the kit was easy to put together. For the price of the kit was high and the kit could of been made a little better.

Over all nice garden beds. Very easy to assemble and functional. If you are handier than I, then for greater quality control and reduced cost consider building your own. However, i preferred the simplicity of this kit and dont mind that a few boards were bowed.

Very easy to put together. Only complaint is that a few of the boards were a little warped. Hopefully they will straighten with time.

4 FT. X 8 FT. X 21 IN. DOVETAIL CEDAR RAISED GARDEN BED The Greenes 4 ft. x 8 ft. x 10.5 in. Dovetail Raised Garden Bed came in boxes and were very easy to assemble the divided frame worked very well and allowed me to level the boxes and square them up with ease. We bought enough of the kits to stack one on top of the other and it was very easy to install. I drove the corner posts into the ground and then installed a 6”x5/4 top ledge to allow us to put our gardening tools on the ledge for easy access and to put a sprinkler on.

I love the product it turned out great. It really added some beauty to my backyard. Easy to install. Anyone can do it!

Goes together easy and is attractive, but I'd recommend leveling the ground first!

Our Greenes raised-beds-in-a-box arrived promptly and in good condition. Assembly was very easy -- like Lincoln Logs. The only tools required are a screw driver to place the post caps and a level (optional.) They look great! Several neighbors have stopped to ask about them. The facts that they're customizable and expandable are real assets. We're looking forward to years of use.

Be VERY cautious when buying this kit! We received one as a gift (purchased at Home Depot) and my husband was setting it up and low and behold, infested with termites. I uploaded a picture. Please see "Product Images" to view it. There were eggs on it as well. Be very careful to inspect yours before putting it near your home and save your receipt in case you need to return it!

Looks nice but it isn't very stury so I added screws for extra sttrenght

Made of cedar so it should last a long time. Product was easy assemble. Anybody can do it! Fun to watch your crops grow. I will be purchasing another one very soon.

This raised garden bed was easy to assemble and looks nice in my yard. The sides are not as high as I envisioned but after filling with soil and mulch I decided they are plenty high. I like the fact that it is divided into 2 4X4 foot sections.

I added this raised garden to another 4 x 4 raised garden that I purchased from Home Depot. So easy to put together and add to other raised gardens by the same manufacturer. I plan to keep adding to it every year. I love gardening and these raised gardens have made it so easy for me. We are looking forward to fresh vegetables and fruits. This is a great quality product at a great price and I highly recommend it.

Our daughter suggested a little vegetable garden for our grandson's 2nd birthday. I ordered the kit from Home Depot online and had it shipped to their home. When we arrived for his birthday celebration he helped us with every step. It's a snap to put together! That was a month ago - and he's already enjoyed mesculan mix and radishes - he particularly enjoys watering it! Such a wonder product - now I want one for our yard!

The kits assembled very easily. I did apply a water protectant as an extra measure, however not sure if I needed to. There were no cracked or broken boards and only a few were slightly bowed but not enough to hinder assembly. I think they look great and should last me for a number of years. I like the fact that replacement boards can be purchased further adding to the lasting functionality of these raised beds.

This was easy to assemble and the correct size. Some of the boards weren't straight, to the point there are gaps in the wood where the soil can run out. A little less than I expected. Still, it should serve the purpose for a decent price. We'll just have to see how it holds up.

This is my first attempt at vegetable/flower gardening in raised beds. Soil pretty bad in Texas so decided the raised bed was the best solution. I did a lot of research on line and decided that the Greenes Cedar Raised Bed kit looked like the best quality for the price range I wanted. Like the reviews I read, my experience was very positive. They arrived quickly and were super simple to put together. My sons helped with hauling the dirt and getting them set up.

Mobility issues keep me from bending to work in the garden I love. We ordered two of these boxes and stacked them to make reaching easier for me. They came quickly and were relatively easy to assemble however they are extremely rough cut so watch out. We treated the wood first so that helped some. There were a few warped boards but lining the inside of the boxes with plastic will keep the soil from escaping. When put together the boxes look great and hold far more than I expected. They are allowing me to continue doing the gardening I love.

Great quality materials and it was quick and easy to install. Also, it was about half the price of other similar raised bed planters.

We have wanted to plant a good-sized raised vegetable garden for a while, so I was happy to find this kit for such a great price. We looked at building our own, but to buy cedar planks alone would have cost more than this kit. The garden was super easy to assemble, looks great, and is the perfect size for plenty of plants. Very excited for our first harvest!

I had this product together in minutes. Looks great. Natural wood that enhances the garden. I think it's an excellent design for a DIY person. I would recommend to all. I also added 12 bags of excellent soil that HD carried that had peat moss,bone meal,vermiculite etc. This above ground garden bed is set up as a 2 part 4x4. So each section held 6 bags. This is in my back yard along fence in a townhome community. Also created a pyramid herb garden & have mint on fence. All thanks to HD.

My students love to garden and we found the perfect solution to growing a garden on top of an asphalt slab. The Home Depot garden box has two compartments to plant vegetables and flowers. It has a nice decor with the two slats of boards which easily slids into place to assemble. I had parents who volunteered to help build it, but I could have assembled it alone. This box would be great for an small patio or yard. It is a good price for what you get and I hope to purchase more of these boxes for my classroom and fellow teacher so more children can participate in gardening to learn about plants and what they need to grow. Many of the children do not have access to gardening at home so the garden box provide this opportunity for them.

I got this in order to create a square-foot garden and this is going to make that possible. The design, the way the boards fit into the corner pieces and the ability to use 2 boards or 3, and the ability to hook the frames together with each other make this so useful and easy to create the square-foot garden.

The raised-bed garden kit was easy to assemble. I could have done it by myself, but I did have a friend's help. As we put it together, we discussed how good it looked, how well it fit together, and generally deemed it "pretty darned slick". My next-door neighbor heard our words of praise over the fence and came to look. He may get one for himself, he said. I had gotten two kits and put one above the other so that the finished garden bed is about 28 inches high. As promised and instructed, it worked very well. The price was very reasonable. The garden bed is now filled with potting soil, ready for next spring's planting. It took a pick-up load ("one scoop") to fill it. I'm looking forward to next spring!

When I opened the package, I found no directions and almost paniced. I didn't take me long to figure out that all I had to do was slide the boards into the posts. I used a hammer wrapped with a towel on a couple of boards. It went together quickly. I thought I might need a drill, but found the caps to be predrilled. So, I only needed a screwdriver to complete the job. I was planting vegetables in a square foot arrangement, so I put stakes around the perimeter to which I attached the string to divide it into square feet.. I did not want to take a chance of splitting my beautiful cedar. I don't think it detracted too much from the looks of the cedar.

This is the third of these I have purchased. I've got pretty much a maze of raised beds in my back yard. While the other 2 I purchased in store, this was the first I had shipped. UPS did a horrible job at handling this and it was somewhat damaged. I didn't make a fuss about it as it just took a little elbow grease for the pieces to slide together. I will definitely be buying more of these, just not having them shipped to my house.
