These plate covers give an elegant look to my newly painted bedroom. They almost match the gunmetal silver of the headboard, and the etched surface lets me find the switch easily in the early morning. I think they are gorgeous!

The gun metal finish can take on the palate of the room due to the slight reflectiveness of the gun metal scraped finish. Our local Home Depot doesn't carry it, so after testing one cover I returned to the HD that has it and bought 4 more. I wish they had it in a four switch configuration, though.It doesn't look like much in the store, but on the wall it's stately. I'm leaving the original putty outlet plates alone (they're down below eye level) and using these for the light switch plates. They stand out so much, don't want to overdo it.
