Cork naturally has a water problem. It swells! Consequently, if you get ANY water close to cork flooring, you have a big problem, sooner, or later!!!!! I am a contractor (40 Years). I will never use this product, or anything cork again. You must seal cork! I liked the look!!Gary

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Cork is naturally resistant to moisture damage. However, this product does feature an HDF core that can swell when exposed to standing water/leaks; spills or casual water should be wiped dry as they occur. The cork surface is prefinished with a UV-cured urethane topcoat, so additional sealing is not required. -Billy, Customer Care

Product arrived undamaged and went together well. Only 1 or 2 pieces needed some attention on the long tongue edge prior to being used. The pieces were true and square and well machined. I did fabricate a couple tapping blocks to help assemble - simply 1" blocks of wood with a saw cut (5/32") in the side deep enough for the long tongue edge to slip in and not be damaged. I think it would be a better product if it had a wood core. The MDF core could easily to be damaged while being installed and handled. But I am sure that is a price driver.

We're sorry to hear that. If these areas were ordered and installed at separate times, it is likely you are seeing variations between the individual production runs. Individual orders are always shipped from a single production run as to avoid variations in color/pattern. Unfortunately, if multiple orders are placed at separate times it is probable that they would come from different production runs and slight variations will be noticeable. Inventory turns over quickly but if your kitchen and living room were ordered very recently there may be a small chance that some of the same production run could still be available. If you have any material remaining from those areas, the run # is printed on each carton label and on the back of each plank and begins with "ZZ". You can provide that # to your local Home Depot and they can contact our Customer Service department to check for availability.

Looks beautiful. If I drip any water on it it spots and I have to polish it with Boma and a rag. Boards chip easily if you wear shoes and bring in gravel or set domething heavy on them. fine for a yoga room, which is my use for them.

Pro's: rich beautiful color. nice uniform/subdued grain pattern -- much easier on the eye than other cork options. quiet/warm. easy install.
Con's: rather soft material (duh, cork!) -- so the jury's still out on durability. seemed every half a dozen cases or so would yield a plank with either a cosmetic flaw or a short edge out of square enough to not use. cutting produces a less-than-clean edge due to the soft/little cork particles tearing out
Overall, quite satisfied with the result.

The installed floor looks very nice. It was not easy to install, but after getting the hang of it was not impossible either. I definitely found it helpful to have watched a few installation videos prior to installing. Home depot was very helpful with the timeliness of my order.

We had our contractor install and there were no problems....
We had our contractor install and there were no problems. Look is very even and is exactly what we wanted and expected. Took a few weeks for the smell to dissipate but if you can open windows, should take less time. We are planning to use this in an exercise room.

The flooring certainly lives up to the not matching rumors. Both boxes are a “just barely” match to the rest of the flooring. It’ll work but the variance is obnoxious.

I love the look and feel of this flooring . This is the second home I have installed it in . The first home was a lake cabin and the whole upstairs including kitchen is done in it . It is warm , soft , and quiet underfoot .
