    The swamp cooler was damaged. It was bent the side was hard to get off because it was bent. The insides were loose . I don't think it went through a quality inspection. Or it was handled rough in delivery.. sent it back.

    The product was bought for my 73 Year old sister. It was supposed to get delivered by a certain date. Temperatures were in the high 90s. It was not delivered on the promised date. It finally arrived two days late. What is really bad is that the cashier made me wait, and continued to wait on other people who came in after me. Then she had the nerve to smirk and not return to help me. I didn't know that home Depot was in the business of doing bad business.!

    The AC has a weak blow stream and does not move air throughout the space. The space is under the specified space by 200 sq ft. The bent only move up and down and not side ways. I’m currently looking for air diverters to make it work. Do not purchase this item. It was installed by a professional AC company which is more money that I wasted on this AC. Home Depot in-store staff ate horrible and clueless with the purchase with purchase assistance. That’s the reason I purchased it online. Stay away from this AC. Yes, I am a verified purchaser.

    deliver late store knows it always takes longer.
    3 to 5 days deliver to store on web site. after 7 days instore customer service told me larger items always always take longer to get to store. in home depo distribution center 7 miles away from store. yes, i cannot pick up there. 5 days later it is in store this morning. they need to change web site to real delivery time.

      Poorly Assembled & Major Issues
      I thought I could handle the mechanical issues mentioned in other reviews. Nope. Don’t buy this just to save $200 over the other brand. This thing doesn’t remotely meet its CFM rating, the pads are packed so loose they can barely cool the air, the pillow block bearings rattled so loud even after oiling that we couldn’t have it on low. The motor is LOUD and overheated after 2 hours. There’s no hanging hardware. The overflow valve leaks even after adding gaskets. Don’t waste your $.

        The swamp car came with a hose from the pump to the water lines it's completely kinked I have to go buy another one unacceptable.$500 for something and you have to go buy parts. doesn't blow cold air pads won't get wet thinking about putting in my 1962 used swamp cooler this one stinks not happy

        Pick another brand.
        Sleek appearance but not as well made as other brands. The fan motor mounts are of poor quality and were mounted so crooked I had to clearance it from the housing. The fan itself is so cheap and off circular that I had to rebalance it and still can only get it decently balanced for one speed at a time the other speed wobbles the whole unit. The pump connection was undersized causing the supply hose to pop off within the first 10 minutes of operation, I had to ziptie it on. I also have a Champion unit and while not as pretty it is much more mechanically sound.

          Bearings went out after 3 months, they have no customer service there is no phone number to call and they won’t respond to emails.

            Extremely disappointed
            Spent much time and effort to get this installed. After only 3 days of use I discovered that suddenly the cooler was running but hardly blowing any air because the motor was spinning in reverse, and would not restart when powered on. However, it would run normally if you manually gave it a spin to get it started. Symptoms suggested a bad capacitor. Replaced the capacitor with a compatible 4 MFD/370V one. Did not solve the problem. Now the motor will have to be replaced. Not happy.

              Perfect size and works great! Other reviews indicated the water pump was too small, so I put a larger water pump in before I installed the cooler.
