I found this at our local HD store and it was standing out from the rest, I purchase two for my house, they're looking beautiful. They change slight tint when viewed from either side. They are not cheap low graade rugs, this has think pile and you could feel it when you step on it. I love HD carrying good variety of rugs at store as online is hard to guess on actual colors.

Beautiful, elegant & soft feel. (I got the 9 x 12) It was thick enough for my tile floor & did not need non-slip pad; although depends on how soft you want the feel to be or if it slips on your type of flooring..

Gorgeous colors, red or rusty orange depending on which way the fibers are brushed. Upgrades any room. I am so glad I got the 9 x 12. Soft & luxurious looking. Does not slip.

Love the color variations of the dark blue, light blue, grays and cream. It looks good with our new gray sectional. The thickness of the rug with the pad underneath makes it comfy underfoot.

I can't believe this is a Home Depot rug! So soft and smooth and the color is stunning! It feels like much more expensive rugs that I've had. We put it in our guest room but I think I'll be getting another for our master.

This rug absolutely MADE our downstairs. I had been trying for months to get something to tie the living room together. The area rug showed me the quality upon opening the wrapping. The ends laid down flat in a very short time. The colors mix well together and the look of it is elegant. The gold mixed in the rug gives it a touch of class. The area rug definitely looks like it is very high quality. It is not too thick it may give me problems during cleaning. I love my new area rug!

If you do not have to worry about clashing with other patterns (sofa, curtains, wallpaper) in your space, the HOME DECORATORS COLLECTION TALYA IVORY/RED 5 FT. X 7 FT. MEDALLION AREA RUG may be perfect for you. The pattern and colors in this area rug are bright and cheery. Some of the colors seem to luminesce in the sun. This rug lays down well almost as soon as you put it down. It is thick enough to provide warmth to your floor in the winter and resists fading and staining.

If you want to use this rug in a hard surface floor, I suggest getting a non slip mat for under the rug. The rug measurements were very close to advertised at 5’ by 7’. The pile is 100% polypropylene and measures about 1/2” high. It is a very dense pile, and super soft. It feels great underfoot. The edges are tightly bound using gray fiber that matches the rug itself. I would call the “red” more of a burnt orange/red depending on what angle you view it. Super luxe feeling area rug called Tayla Blue from the Home Decorators Collection. I was so surprised at how plush it is and its softness. The blue and cream colors blend nicely together. Other colors are a gold sage and slightly teal lighter blue. There were no smells when I opened it up, and the rug was laying nice and flat within a day or two. Its actual size is 5’3” x 7’3”. I chose this rug for our home office, but really like it in my great room and may just keep it there. I highly recommend it!

This is a nice area rug. Not real big but serves a purpose for me. My recliner likes to nick my hardwood floor so I wanted a nice looking rug to go under it and protect the floor. I included a picture of the back so you can see how it is made. I like the colors. The top is soft, my doggie likes laying on it. The back is not either soft or very scratchy. I wouldn't mind something bigger for this room and may get it but this is doing the job for now.

We like this rug. It's a very traditional patterned rug. It is unique that is changes colors as you move your point of view looking at the rug. From one angle it is very dark sky blue, then from another angle it has very sage green hues that overtake the sky blue. It's like having two different rugs. It's a low pile rug, not very thick so it works well in our high traffic area. A good rug.

This 5X7 rug has a very nice blue pattern. The rug will look good in any area where a splash of blue color is wanted. The design is interesting and pleasing to the eyes. The rug itself is thick and heavy for a throw rug but can still easily be moved around to wherever it is needed/wanted. It should hold up well to foot traffic and feels nice on bare feet. I would recommend getting this rug cleaned by a professional if it gets to the point where it needs cleaning.

This TALYA IVORY/BLUE 5 FT. X 7 FT. MEDALLION AREA RUG is gorgeous and nice and soft on the feet. Ivory base with shades of blue, green and brown and gold. As with any new rug that comes wrapped in plastic I unroll it upside down and leave it overnight then turn it over and if the ends are still curled I curl it under by hand till it lays flat. This rug is made in Turkey.

I own several rugs in various price-points and I find you get what you pay for. This rug looks and feels very well made for the price. It's plush and the weave is nice and tight. Being made in Turkey, a country with a reputation for well-made rugs, may have a lot to do with the quality. The actual size is 5'3" X 7'3". It's 65% polypropylene, 35% polyester, labeled as stain and fade resistant. I will put this to the test as it's going under a small pub table and time will tell how it holds up. What really struck me about this rug, and I find quite unique, is how the color varies depending on the direction you look at it. One would almost believe it contains some sort of metallic thread but close inspection reveals none. The ends had a lot of curl from being rolled and allowing it to lay overnight, face down, allowed most of it to relax and flatten. A couple more days and it should be fine.

This is absolutely my new favorite rug. I love how plush it is. I love the size, too, as it fits perfectly in my foyer. The blue is just subtle enough to blend with any other color, too. It's a high-quality piece and feels so soft to walk on. I love how it makes a statement in the room while anchoring it to make a room feel homey. Great rug! It vacuums up nicely and always looks nice. I highly recommend it.

My 5 ft by 7 ft rug seems to be a little different than some of the other reviewers’ 8 ft by 10 ft rugs. First off, it doesn't appear to be as thick as theirs are. I would say it's a light medium weight. And the overall background color, rather than being gray, is more of a taupe. It has more tan tones in it, which is fine with me, I'd say it's more attractive (my camera makes it look gray, too, but that's my automatic white balance being off slightly). Overall, this rug is more attractive in person than it looks like on the website. While there are many spots of dark rich red, there are just as many that are actually a dark burnt orange with a metallic sheen to them...very nice. The rug has an ornate border at each end that adds to the overall interest of the pattern. My rug came rolled with the upside in, but it unrolled and laid pretty flat right away, not too bad. And yes, you’ll need a pad on bare floors.

This Home Decorators Collection Talya ivory and red 8 foot by 10 foot Medallion area rug is a very soft and comfortable rug with a nice pleasing pattern. The colors look sharp and they have a very bright look. The rug came tightly wrapped in heavy plastic and the inside edge did uncurl quickly and lay down nicely. I will be getting a non slip rug padding to place under the rug as it will be on a wood floor. The rug is machine made in Turkey using 65% Polypropylene and 35% Polyester and is flame resistant and stain resistant. I am very pleased with the high quality of this rug especially at this price and look forward to getting years of service from it. It is guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects.

A nice thick rug that feels wonderful on bare feet! The colors are nice and vibrant. There was no offgassing when we laid it down. We have it on top of current low pile carpeting, and it is not moving around on the carpet. We had another rug that would always be shifting around, and then bunching up. Spills have been easy to clean up. It really enhances our living room and makes it very cozy.

This is a beautiful area rug! It came rolled up with the top facing outward which made it easy to lay flat on the floor. (I have had rugs rolled with the top in and the corners stick up.) This rug has a beautiful pattern. It is made in Turkey and is of very high quality. It is brightly-colored, stain and fade resistant. It has medium pile height and feels luxurious to walk upon. Impeccably made borders. Looks just as good on the underside. Perfectly made!

My wife and I absolutely love this rug! The colors go perfectly with our decor and we couldn’t be happier. One “feature” we didn’t expect was how the colors change from deep blue to washed out depending on the angle you look from. It’s amazing to see and makes the rug stand out even more.
