missing parts
Received unit on 6-30-2023. unit had missing parts . called the 800 number and they wanted me to go through a bunch of bull for a couple of small plastic parts. Lucky I bought it from Home Depot web site. Honeywell service is terrible. I purchased a Toshiba from the Macomb Mi. store Very happy with it.Mind you that this all happened in one day Home Depot was awesome...

I have been operating it for a few weeks, but it seems to be doing the job! It collects 50 pts of water in about 10-12 hrs. in my basement. I am pleased so far.

Bought this to replace a Toshiba that worked great for...
Bought this to replace a Toshiba that worked great for 2 years before it froze up. The Honeywell does draw moisture, however, it is not user friendly. It is almost impossible to empty the bucket without spilling water all over the place. When the bucket is removed, it continues to drip water inside the case. The 3' drain tube is useless. The hydrometer is not accurate. The top vent for the dry air doesn't seem to circulate the air as well as a side vent. I would rather have a dehumidifier that worked well for only 2 years, than one that is mediocre from the start.

Returned it
Sadly, i had to return this item to HD. It leaked from day one. They usually take a year or two to start that process. Why doesn’t anyone make a dehumidifier that can last? Been in the house for 12 years and been through 5 of them.

The dehumidifier works great, very efficient and quiet. Only...
The dehumidifier works great, very efficient and quiet. Only problem is one of the casters was broken in the box. I contacted the Honeywell Company who said the casters were out of stock and I should just return the unit to Home Depot for a new one. I neede this dehumidifier and it was all set up and working, I did not want to return it. I felt the company could have been more helpful.

Very disappointed with this model. Started leaking after four or five days. Home Depot was happy to return it and order a new one.

My new dehumidifier
It looks nice but I hate having to go to the basement to empty it. My health doesn't allow me to do the stairs very well. I will wait until I get my next electric bill to see if it's as energy efficient as it says.

So far so good.
So far so good. Easy set-up, I like the wheels for moving it around. I went with a slightly larger capacity unit in the hope that it wouldn't be operating as much. It took a couple of days with intermittent use to bring down the humidity level in our basement; but it is where we want it to be now, and the musty smell in our storage room is gone.

Barely lasted 1 year
1 year & 2 months & the unit's dehumidifier sensor failed. Warranty still in place & submitted & getting a new one sent from manufacturer but still wondering how long this one will last....

Leaked after 15 Months of Use
I purchased this unit & maintained it. After 15 mths of use, it clogged where the water drains into the bucket. This caused the water to leak and it kept running. It caused a big mess and after hours of work, the purchase of a new shop vac and humidifier, I contacted Honeywell to complain.
After a painfully long and drawn out review process, I was told "Sorry but it was most likely an insect!" There was no insect anywhere. Honeywell didn't accept responsibility at all. Don't buy.
