I am an agronomist retired. I have a strong interest in my lawn and the comforting beauty it brings to my wife and I. With a sprinkler system newly installed, The lawn was starting to fade in color, so I decided to try some iron type product for a "quick greenup". I purchases this product after reading several product labels and decided it gave me the best chance for what I wanted to do. I put the product on per the direction attached to the label and waited for results. I waited for three weeks to see any visual results and when nothing happened, I re-fertilized with another produce and achieved what I wanted and expected within the next ten days. Conclusion, I would strongly recommend not to buy this product!

Just the right amount of fertilizer without making the grass grow like crazy...but the Iron is the secret...great for lawn and flowers. Sure does make everything green.

I have used Ironite in the past but always as the bag product. This is the first time I used the liquid version. After applying it to part of my yard and giving it two weeks to see the results I can't really tell any difference between it and the untreated part of my yard. After reading the contents between the liquid and the bag version I discovered that there is a big difference in the ingredients. I think I will stay with the dry version for future use.

This product was one of three solutions to the yellowing for St Augustine grass in my lawn. Simple to use with marked results. i will use this product again.

I have pretty nice Tifway 419 Bermuda in my front and Emerald Zoysia in the back. Both are fairly healthy and get the required 1" of water a week and I use good 16-4-9 fertilizer at the appropriate times. I'm not completely unsatisfied but I was expecting it to become a nice dark green. I put the Ironite Plus down the week of June 9th and there has been no change in tone at all. I had no issues applying it and no clogs as others have had. I think mixing it up real well before attaching to the hose is the key to this. Anyway, I will change my review and update this if I see a change. Otherwise, I don't recommend wasting money on this product for the type of grass I have.

I like Ironite but this product only covered 200 sq. ft.

I hooked this to a hose and it sprayed from every connection. Took it off and checked to make sure it had I gasket and it did. It's going back.

This bottle has a horrible design. You can see other reviews on the web also. The contents don't empty. Some other applicators may work if you have them or buy them. I tried 2 others which could not empty the contents either- maybe something with it being a thicker formula. If you are going to try this product, save the receipt because currently it has a money back guarantee. May not last for long with how many people complain of the same issue. Buy the pellets instead!

There is nothing wrong with the compound per se but, I have bought a few of these and; the hose applicators are inconsistant in application rate. Not just a mild difference either. If you do buy this product, I would suggest buying a separate chemical applicator for your hose (or just stick with pellet fertilizers).
