Some seem to have black marks on the brick mold...
Some seem to have black marks on the brick mold and have noticed a few dents and dings. Overall a decent built door casing that is easy to install

Door is okay for the money. Problem is I had to dig through 7 doors just find one good one. This one wasn't even good and was the last one left to look at. It had broke brick molding on it.
The store did give me A new piece of brick molding. Still had to cut and replace the broken piece which you should not have to do with a brand new door. The options were dents and bent up plates.

Great door, once it was installed you could see how rugged it is. It is not an easy installation, so some experience is needed to install.

How did this door make it out of the factory
When we placed the door into the opening we found that the brick molding was not installed properly on the door. We had to remove all of the molding, install the door then reinstall the molding. Looking at the door you can clearly see the molding was not attached properly. This should have never left the factory where the door was made. So much for quality control.

What a beautiful door! Installation directions could have been a bit more detailed. It wouldn't close correctly (home-owner builder error) and I finally had to separate the upper left frame a bit for it to close. Oh well. Live and learn. I'm going to get another one!
