Very Poor Quality and dangerous
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased out new oven early 2021. From the first day it had gas smell and a noisy exhaust fan. I have had the gas company come out and check for leaks as well as 3 visits from authorized service technician. No opne can seem to find a leak, but they can all smell the gas - its in the top oven. Service agent replaced gas valve, but it did not solve the issue. He is coming back with another valve, electronics board, and supervisor to see if they can solve the issue. Also - the exhaust fan on the oven made noises from day 1. Service technician did replace that item successfully. I must also say that the service Technician has been very helpful and understanding during this entire fiasco. They called LG service NO helpline. Yes all the gas orifices have been properly changed fro natural gas to LP gas. I DO NOT recommend this oven to anyone unless you want high priced headaches and poor quality

Leaks gas and LG or HD don't care
My family woke up to a gas alarm and a kitchen filled with gas due to the front burner leaking gas even in the off position. We now have a new oven that is unusable and even after two weeks and several calls to LG, we still have had zero attempts at a resolution. This oven has had a laundry list of problems that began in the first month. The front left burner doesn’t consistently light without assistance. The oven cooks unevenly. Any dish, pizza, cookies or whatever has to be rotated at least three times during cooking otherwise it will be half burnt and half soggy. The oven temperature is sometimes at least 30 degrees off and sometime it’s not. We had to use an oven thermometer to figure out what temp the oven had decided to cook at on a given day. Another questionable issue is that the oven we received has no serial number on it. LG wouldn’t even service it until Home Depot gave LG the serial number they had on file from our purchase. LG, Home Depot and the service tech sent out by LG all think it is strange that the oven has no serial number on it. We were told by both the service tech and someone at LG that this likely means that it is a refurbished unit. LG sent out a service tech to repair the oven off of our first complaints. He replaced the control panel with a part that obviously doesn’t go with this oven. He thought it was strange, but insisted that it was the part that LG had sent to him to put into the unit. The display numbers are now a bright green instead of the silver they were originally and it doesn’t fit in the display, so you have to stand back to be able to see the oven display. It still bakes poorly and now the burners rattle when the convection oven is running. The service tech, after the last visit and before the gas leak, said that he thought the unit should just be replaced by LG. This was three weeks ago and still nothing from LG. After the gas leak LG was contacted again and they informed us that the service tech doesn’t have ability to request a new unit and that they would send him back out to diagnose the gas leak and address the other issues. It has been two weeks and numerous phone calls all taking at least 40 minutes and each phone call results in them saying someone will call us in 48 hours. Neither LG or Home Depot have any interest of standing behind this product even if that product is leaking gas into a house. Thankfully our gas detector worked like it was suppose to. This will be the last LG product we ever purchase and we will never again purchase an appliance from Home Depot.

    Great Oven So Far

    Great looking stove
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this a month ago and it works great. The only issue I can complain about is a whistling sound using the oven. Turns out this is a known issue and I am in the process of having it addresses under the warranty. Otherwise, it works great and is nice addition to my upgraded kitchen.

    The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the top scratched very easily. Not real noticeable, but my husband used a dry paper towel to wipe up a spot and it left marks. Also the round parts that hold the burners ceramic plates (no clue in the name) also stained very easily. Other than that, once you understand how it all works it cooks great, and I really like the smart feature that notifies my phone and watch when it is done cooking or preheated or needs to be cleaned.
