We have a 6, 4, and 1 year old. The kids have loved this playground as well as the neighbor kids! I know we will have plenty of years of use even for our oldest. It took my husband around 9 to 10 hours to build on his own.

We received the Lifetime Big Stuff Deluxe Playset in return for an honest review and we have been greatly pleased with it. Assembly took about 3 days, and that’s with being restricted on when we could work due to weather. The instructions were fairly straightforward, with a few minor hiccups. We love that the nuts used throughout the majority of the playset lay flat and don’t leave anything to catch children’s clothes or hurt anyone. However, because of the length of the bolts, it was somewhat difficult to get the bolts lined up with the nuts before we could tighten them. The bolts that went through the end caps on the top of the monkey bars were particularly difficult, as the holes in the end caps didn’t line up perfectly and required a lot of effort to get things in place. We also felt it was easier to attach the climbing rope to the leg of the swingset immediately and go ahead and attach the foot on the A-frame instead of waiting to do that when the deck was attached and adding more weight. Additionally, we needed to drill the holes in the deck of the playhouse for the slide before attaching to the swingset, as it’s quite difficult to wedge under the deck to see where to drill, especially when the person with the drill wears bifocals. Otherwise, things went smoothly and went together great! My children have greatly enjoyed playing on the playset and will easily play outside for a few hours now, with plenty of different activities to keep them busy. Their favorite features are the chalkboard, as they have been using sidewalk chalk on everything possible right now, and the map and roads on the floor of the playhouse. The ship’s wheel obstructs access to part of the chalkboard, but that doesn’t seem to bother them too much. The rung spacing on all the ladders is a little too large for kids in the 3-5 range, as they are further apart than a standard ladder, and the younger kids could also benefit from handles on each end of the monkey bars to help them reach the top of the ladders. My kids have learned to deal with those difficulties, but they do have to be very careful to not fall because of them. The roof does not have anything to cover the gap where the two sides come together, so rain will get through easily to anything left on the deck. Admittedly, I prefer the green and grey color scheme of the playset shown in the instructional video, but the bright primary colors that we have on ours are still beautiful and appeal to my young children. The size of the playset is amazing, providing plenty of features without taking up a huge portion of our yard, and will still give plenty of space for all our kids to play as our family grows. Overall, we are very satisfied with the playset and look forward to using it for years to come. We found it to be very sturdy and we have no worries of it wearing out for a long, long time.

This playset is the full package. It has everything my kids would want. It's big but we have .3 of an acre and for how big it is, it didn't seem to take up much space in our yard. It took about 10 hours to set up but it wasn't ever difficult. Just a lot of pieces. My kids immediately loved the fort part of the playset. Which is why we wanted this one in particular. Having a place like this outside for our kids to play and use their imagination is exactly what we wanted. The colors are perfect because it looks classy - it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb.

This swing set has been perfect for my girls! They love having two slides they can both go down and the different swings. They also love the ship wheel! It has so many things for them to do and grow into! It will be perfect for when we have our next kid and they can all have their own swing!

The Big Stuff Deluxe Playset has been an awesome addition to our backyard. It offers such a variety of things that each of our kids are continually playing on it. It literally feels like a playground in our backyard. Our kids' ages range between 2 to 7 and I can see them enjoying something new on this playset for years to come. The entire playset is very sturdy with very little sway with 3 people on the swings. Nice neutral colors fit in well to our backyard. The monkey bars and gymnast bar swing have been real winners for the older kids and slides and chalk board/hang out area are big hits with the younger kids. Everyone loves the swings (we purchased a full bucket swing for the 2 yr old- not pictured). Setup went smoothly. I was able to put it together with my wife's occasional help (you'll definitely need two people for some parts of the install). Instructions were complete and easy to follow. It did take a while though, about 10-12 hours. It was packaged well, coming in a crate with all of the boxes. The parts were finished and packaged nicely with no scratches or dents upon arrival. This is one of their bigger playset so it does require some space in the backyard but for 3 kids, we feel like it's a perfect size for them, family and friends to enjoy for years to come. Overall, really satisfied with this playset.

I was ecstatic when I was selected to review the Lifetime Big Stuff Deluxe Playset. When it arrived, the amount of boxes and materials was a bit intimidating. One of the boxes indicated that the instruction manual was inside, so that was extremely helpful. My husband assembled the playset by himself in approximately 14 hours. He said that it was easier to assemble than other swing sets he’s assembled in the past. He noted that you need to pay attention early on when building the A frame otherwise the small holes for the clubhouse ladder won’t line up. He stated that this part of the instructions was not clear. In his opinion, most of it can be assembled with one person, but it would be helpful to have an additional person on some parts. Be prepared to have a way to recycle the shipping materials - there is SO much cardboard! Don’t underestimate the time it takes to unbox and dispose of the materials. There are SO many cool features to this playset! My children are 8, 6, and 2 years old and they were all excited! The clubhouse has a chalkboard that my kids started using right away. There are stars on the ceiling/inside of the roof, so when inside the clubhouse, you can look up and see them. I thought this was a really neat feature. My kids were so excited about this clubhouse, that they ate dinner up there the first night. My 2 year old is able to climb up to get into the clubhouse, but the slide is a bit steep for her. She is able to go down it, but the end of the slide just drops off, so she has a rough landing. The swingset is large, but we live on an acre, so there’s plenty of room. There are 3 swings, a fireman pole, 3-way seesaw, monkey bars, trapeze bar, 2 slides, and rock wall. There are SO many activities to do, so my kids are all occupied. I love this playset because of the variety of activities as it really appeals to kids of all ages. Some of the neighborhood kids came to check it out and even one of the 12 year old boys enjoyed using it. I know that this set will grow with my kids. The colors of this playset aren’t my favorite, but I think they’re pretty typical for any playset (red, blue, yellow). I would prefer something that blends in more with the backyard, but that’s just me. Although we were selected to review this playset, it is totally worth the investment. My children play on it daily and it provides hours of fun. It gets our family outside and we’ve really enjoyed playing with our kids.

My kids really like the fact that this playset has vibrant colors. It makes for good pictures too. The assembly took 3 grown men about 7 and half hours. They said it wasn't really difficult but it does take a while. The swings are very wide which was surprising because we did not expect that. The little red chalkboard was also a nice surprise. I am only wishing I would have been aware of this feature because now we need chalk! This set is VERY sturdy. It was definitely made to last and we LOVE it!

Our family loves this play set! I was a little worried about the size of it even after measuring our space, but it fits nicely in our yard. Our kids love the options that they have amongst all the features. I would recommend this for sure. For us the green and tan earth colors fit well with our yard, however that probably wouldn’t change much for us if we had a different color scheme. Setting it up definitely takes some time and goes much quicker with two people. It took the better part of two days to set up. Part of that is because we didn’t have two people the entire time. It’s not hard to set up, it just takes time. If you have some older kids it is a good opportunity to get them to help! It is very sturdy and has already provided our family with fun opportunities to be with each other.

I thought my kids would absolutely love this set, and they do! They have been playing on it every day since it was assembled! I have children ranging in all ages from 1 to 16... the 1 year old basically only uses the swing, but the other kids can use everything! Assembly does require at least 2 people, but it is not too bad at all. It came very nicely packaged on a large crate so you do need to make sure to have access to where you want it set up, otherwise you will have to take all the packaging apart to relocate to it's destination!

We just got this playset, and it has been great. Our kids have loved it from the day we got it. It's like having a city park in our backyard. Our kids haven't stopped playing on it since we bought it. It's definitely made from high quality materials. I can't see this thing wearing out for years if ever. There's no wood to rot like you see on lots of old playsets. It looks really good in our backyard, too. We love having swings in the backyard and the monkey bars. The assembly was pretty straight forward. We ended up using both the included installation manual and watched some parts of their video on Youtube. It was easy to put together, but it was very time consuming. It probably took us 8-10 hours spread out over a few evenings to assemble. One of the most time consuming aspects was just figuring out which piece I was looking for because there were so many pieces and the metal bars weren't labeled. I think adding removable stickers to the bars would go a long way. But everything fit together like a glove and was easy to do. We were selected to be given this playset for free and review it by Lifetime.

I searched far and wide for years for the best playground, and THIS IS IT. Plus I know it will last a long time because my sister bought the same one 7 years ago and it is just as good as my brand new one. Truly this product will last a Lifetime❤️

Extremely impressed with the quality of this product. This playset is built like a tank and I'm very excited about watching my kiddos enjoy it for many years to come. My one complaint was that the larger pieces were labeled in the instructions but not actually labeled so it made things a bit more difficult than it needed to be. Overall though, fantastic experience putting this set together

In less than four years the metal Lifetime Adventure Swing Set has several areas that have completely rusted through leaving it unsafe and unusable . The set was purchased late summer 2019. Every year we examined the set and never saw any rust until this year ( and after this relatively dry winter) there were three areas that were completely rusted through. We purchased the metal swing set because we thought it would be the most durable and we were told that there was a 5 year warranty. These are not the normal rust spots that can easily be repaired. There's definitely a manufacturing defect. We sent pictures of the areas and we were just told it's not covered under the warranty! Very disappointed in what was supposed to be a reputable company

The kids have a blast!

This set is big, sturdy, and looks nice. The colors don’t draw your eye, so it looks great in the yard and isn’t distracting. My 3 year old and 7 year old love it and my 10 year old isn’t too big to enjoy it with them from time to time. It was a lot of work to set up (my husband and I worked all day), but will last for years to come with no maintenance. And because there is no wood we don’t have to worry about carpenter bees and restaining. We love it!

Lifetime swing set model 90042 Purchased 5 years ago and unfortunately 2 legs have deteriorated. Unfortunately I have to pay to get them replaced/shipped and pay someone to remove and replace legs.

It’s a great swingset my children (4) and (2) absolutely adore. The red wall piece on the play house was not very heavily attached and broke off repeatedly. My husband had to go get really long screws that kind of stick out like a sore thumb with the rest of the set but it has secured it from flopping in the wind thus far. That is my only complaint. I demanded that they have a slide, swings, and monkey bars. This is one of the only ones that offers all three and doesn’t need the maintenance that wood requires.

We bought this for our daughter in 2021 and just now got around to putting it together. The quality is top notch and the hardware packs make things super easy. What isn't such a good thing is how some of the instructions are laid out. The pictures aren't clear in some steps and the instructions don't mention certain items, such as making sure certain support beams be situated in a certain direction or the blown up diagrams not showing a washer clearly when one is needed. Outside of those things, the girl loves it and it wasn't too bad of a task where just myself put this together. There were three times when this needed two people.

We were able to assemble the swingset in over the 6 hours suggested but mainly because the leg support directions as noted in other reviews are confusing. It is VERY easy to assemble wrong and have to back track. Additionally, this product comes freight. It is impossible to track or get a progress update. It was frustrating. The driver who eventually delivered it called to ensure someone was home. The problem is that his equipment on the massive truck couldn’t move this massive crate. It was too heavy. We pulled the crate to the back of the truck using our tow strap and Jeep. Overall, I recommend the product. Super quality. They need to tweak the directions for the legs. Not sure about the shipping…that was rough.

I’ve already left a review over a year ago, playset is still in excellent condition through 2 Texas summers and a winters. I just wanted to add a picture of the package it came in, in case anyone had questions. The pallet took up a pretty good amount of space in my garage but I like how well protected it came.

This swing set is great and looks amazing. The issues we had, were none of the parts were labeled. This took additional time in finding the right piece, as well as having to go back and fix where we grabbed an identical piece. I do wish it had anchors for the feet. My son and I were both swinging high and we had to stop because it was starting to come off the ground. With 2 of us it took about 4-5 hours, with breaks.

My 9 year old And 7 year old love this swing set. Very happy with this set.

It's so worth the money! My 3.5 yo loves to relax in her swing set and I also love to swing with her side by side looking for animal shaped clouds and play with her toy dinosaurs in her "castle." The material is sturdy and no more wood splinters! We've had her friends over too to play on the swing set.

My husband and I just put this playset together this weekend. The entire process took roughly 8 hours (we split it into 2 days). I read the instructions and handed him pieces, while he screwed everything together. We are pretty handy people, but this was by far the best well instructed equipment that we have put together. The nuts/bolts coming separated by section was a lifesaver. Delivery was fast and efficient. The driver even put the pallet in our garage because it was raining. Thank you!

Very well made. My 5 year old loves it. Definitely need at least 2 guys.

Big Stuff Swing Set. Two of us put it together in one day. Very pleased with the size. Grandkids love it, heck I love going down the slide and swinging too. The slide is great. The grandkids love the ship's wheel that clicks when you turn it. Who knew something so simple would be loved by ALL the kids? I love the size of the fort. So far we are very happy with this set. Time will tell about any rusting.

So glad my wife found this swingset that is not wooden. All we see is worn down gray wooden sets around and this one should last. I was shocked with the quality. I put this together myself with the help of my 7 and 4 year old boys holding a few things and getting screws. Every weld and every hole alignment was perfect. I do recommend 2 adults for assembly - I could have saved probably an hour throughout just having somebody hold and press some of the plastic caps for the holes to align and me to get a nut on. However I was able to basically do the whole thing myself in about 11-13 hours over 4 days. While building, I ended up spending a lot of time playing with the kids as we finished each component. There is a BILT app I downloaded that has 3D panoramic instructions that read you the directions over and over again. It would’ve been significantly more difficult with just the paper instructions. That app is a must. It allows you to pan and zoom into even the holes for each screw. The set is sturdy. Our family of 5 sit in the fort area up top. The main pipes are very rigid and I do the monkey bars at 180 pounds and it almost feels like a commercial playground. It also looks and feels like a quality paint. There are no sharp edges on the welds or anything like that. One roof support was bent at the very end and a bolt wouldn’t go through. I was able to bend it with pliers and a vice and drill the hole a bit bigger with a drill bit. Otherwise it was flawless. Protip: directions and most hardware are in box 6 of 6. Download the app and watch that quick before install. It’s the first thing the boys run to over a month in. Couldn’t be happier with this set. We checked all out boxes (slide (2), fort, monkey bars, rock wall) and still paid less than the popular cedar swingsets available around here. Called in and got 5% discount. Last thing, I’m thrilled we don’t have to spend a weekend each summer staining this thing every year.

Parts were cracked upon delivery. The hardware for box 1&2 were in the bottom of box 3. Not organized at all. The manual was at the bottom of box 6. It’s a good product but they have a long way to go.

Excellent quality. Parts were labeled well. Definitely suggest 2 adults throughout the assembly l.

I have had this set for over a year without issue or damage. My kids still play on it. Just bought another swingset to add to it
