Super quiet and enough air for one man framing or trimming. May not keep up with a really good roofer but it's a great tool.

Bought this to replace an old craftsman 2 Galen unit. The Mikita is quieter and doesn’t work as hard supply demand. Seems very well built. Should last a long time

This is the most quiet and fast filling small compressor I have ever owned. It fact that it is an oil compressor is great because it will last so much longer that the cheaper oil less type. So far I am quite pleased with this tool.

This is a great little compressor that is quiet and has worked flawlessly in the short time I’ve owned it. I use it to air up my cars, truck, RV tires, brad nailer and for other compressed air needs. This thing is built like a tank and a little on the heavier side, but manageable at 52 lbs. The tank fills in about a minute and doesn’t walk away while running. It’s small foot print makes it easy to store and out of the way. The MAC700 is a quality machine and I expect many years of useful service.

Is ok air compressor when you want to do small things , Unfortunately 2.6 Gal. Is not helpful for the kind of work I do but really good tool very quickly to refill and not to loud

This is a very nice unit. I was looking for something more manageable, lighter but strong enough to handle a framing nailer. I was using a Bostick double stack. A very good compressor but bulky and heavy.

Quite but does not hold much air and runs continually when filling tires or blowing off air filters.

This compressor exceeded my expectations. It is much quieter than I expected. It has a very small footprint. Fills with air quickly. And meets all my needs. Only thing I wasn’t aware of is that makita recommends changing the oil every three months. Was thinking like once a year with light use. Still a great compressor.

Not much use yet, but seems very well made and not too loud. Tank is somewhat smaller than I expected, but so far not an issue.

Just received on time. Noticed an oil leak inside the box. Unpacked the compressor and the bottom of the tank was covered in oil. Not impressed so far. Will edit after I clean it up and run.

Great compressor. The build quality is far above the others out there, and it's much quieter. It's an outstanding value.

Did a lot of research to find the smallest quietest portable compressor that would still power a framing gun and I am not disappointed in the least. Cute as a button too.

The 2hp really shines! Fills the tank from empty to full in about a minute. Quiet enough to not be annoying. Quick connector supplied is an automatic one. Works just fine with an empty tank, male hose end plugs/snaps right in. But I can’t seem to plug male end in with pressure in the tank? Otherwise I’m loving this little compressor!
