Seems high quality and much quieter compared to the cheaper pancake compressors. It is heavy for the size so not too easy to carry around. I mounted to a mobile base.

The Makita MAC700 instructions are clear and set up is easy. It is very quiet compared to my old Campbell-Hausfield oilless compressor. Air recovery is very quick, even at 125psi. Should last a very long time if maintenance suggested by the manual is followed.

Great quality

This is my second purchase of this compressor. The first one lasted 11 years with minimal attention, used on the average a couple of hours per week. If I had taken better care of it, I'm sure it would still be going strong! Not whisper quiet, but not too noisy. Does what it should.

Great little compressor very quite compared to other equiverlent models.

Very quiet but heavy.

This compressor appears to be very well made. I have had good experiences with my other Makita tools, so I expect this to be the last compressor I have to buy. It pumps up very fast and is quiet while running. It IS a bit on the heavy side, but that's a minor issue. I wouldn't even mention it if I was 15 years younger!

It has only been 2 weeks, but I love it.Really? How can one love an air compressor? It is inside a work area and for my demands, it is small, quiet and doing the job...3.4 cfm at 90psi. It replaced one four times as big, but only twice as powerful.

The compressor is fine for small applications but when using a sander or impact drill the tank doesn’t have enough capacity to keep the air pressure above 40 PSI.

Since I just needed a small air compressor for filling the tires on my cars, I had considered a cheaper, pancake model. However, quality and durability were also important to me, as was relatively quiet performance. I'm so glad I stepped up to this one; it easily meets or exceeds these criteria.

We ordered this product and shipped it to our son-in-law's house as a Christmas gift. The first compressor arrived and the plastic was cracked. They returned it to their local HD and we ordered another compressor; however, the customer representative cancelled that order before it shipped. We checked on the second order when our daughter called asking when the second compressor was supposed to arrive. We had to call and reorder a 3rd time. Unfortunately, the plastic on this compressor was also cracked when it arrived. Our son-in-law and daughter returned this compressor to their local HD.

This air compressor is quite, easy to carrier anywhere. Is lightweight.

Far superior quality than the oil-less compressors I have tried. True, it's not a silent as some of the new super-quiet compressors, and yes you have to change oil, but this will last you a very long time. It's a bit heavy, wish they had a version with wheels, but I ll add that myself.
