light weight and easy to install

You get what you pay for. This does exactly what it is designed for but by no means a quality nozzle. I will be happy if it lasts two years. Next time I'll spend a few more dollars and get something more sturdy.

Works well for watering flowers and vegetables

The nozzle per see is excellent, the 'clip' however which you apply/place on the trigger to keep the flow running and remove you hand on the handle EASILY fell off and i wasn't able to find it!

Basic water nozzle (not high end) and it does leak somewhat. The price was right.

I use the Melnor 5-Pattern Watering Nozzle for over 30 minutes every day in the summer and once or twice a week during "cold" (it's Phoenix) months. After four years, I had to replace it because the handle was slipping out of alignment. I love the patterns on this nozzle - especially the Mist. It is like the mist in the produce department of a grocery store. I have tried other nozzle brands and none of them can compare with this one. This nozzle is made of metal and it makes a huge difference. It is sturdy, it does not leak when the water is turned on, and the patterns stay in place when you turn the selector ring.

Best value for metal watering nozzle I use every day

The first time I used it, water leaks out of the joint between the nozzle body and spray head. This thing is junk, don’t waste your money.

This nozzle has not lasted one season, it is already broken and leaking from the bottom.

After less than two years of use the cutoff spring, in the handle, rusted to the point that it would no longer cut off. Tried cleaning/oiling it, but still would not cut off. Tossed it in the trash! Save your money and get another brand.
