Frayed Straps
After one weekend of use the straps began fraying to the point of not being able to be inserted into the hardware. The fraying got worse with every insert into the hardware. Eventually got so bad that I had to cut off the frayed part just to be able to use and as expected the fraying started again once cut. I definitely expected it to hold up much longer than it did.

Overly complex and frayed
This is way more awkward to use than any other strap I’ve ever come across. Unnecessarily over designed and not worth the fuss. I threw it away to keep me from grabbing it out of my bag of straps. Save your money.

Overcomplicates a simple device
On the surface, nice fit and finsh, but it's hard to load the strap properly quickly. If you load the strap incorrectly it is easy to actually open the cam instead of tightening it. Strap is cheap and frays quickly.

Started fraying on first use
I really should have read the reviews before I bought these. They looked sturdy and I didn't mind paying more for quality straps.
Used them for the first time yesterday to tie down my kayak and they are both already fraying ... don't think they'll last the summer. Was expecting better quality for the price.

works on light loads
I have tried several creative tie downs, weaving the strap in the buckle. Every time the strap slips. Sometimes more than other but always slips. Not good for use on a heavy appliance like a stove or fridge and a hand truck.

Strong, little arrow on cam latch assists you on how to use the latch. I wish they had a 15 to 16 ft version. I like it so much I bought 3 more. Good Product, a little pricey but one pays for quality.

Clamp mechanism a hassle to use.
This strap clamp was a hassle to manage; orange rubber protection piece seemed to be in the way when pulling strap through the clamp mechanism. My old simple squeeze clip clamp that you pulled the strap through worked way better that this item. Did not meet my expectations, dud impulse purchase!

Definitely over-priced, but it works really nicely and looks cool compared to others. I'd imagine the one reason you'd get this one over others is if you were needing an aesthetic upgrade vs. other brands.

I tried to use it for synching down a small...
I tried to use it for synching down a small microwave to a small refrigerator in a big rig. But it constantly came loose
I had ditch it and use a wratchet style strap. That did the trick because it stayed secure.

The straps are great for securing down my roofbox. They don't slip at all. Only gripe is that the edges started fraying after 2-3 uses which makes it trickier to thread. Otherwise, no complaints!
