[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've replaced several of these drain pipes over the years in houses I've owned. It's always a challenge finding high quality ones that fit nicely. The fit on these is perfect. I have mine as a backup but I played with it to see how it fit together and it feels tight and solid. Most of them feel loose and shaky. Put this on your sink and feel confident that you won't have an issue.

One nice feature is you can easily remove and reuse if needed using the press release collar. You can also reposition if needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ptrap is like magic. We were having issues after installing a new faucet with the PVC piping under our sink. Our builders glued everything together, which didn’t allow for the new drain to fit properly. This “insta-plumb” Ptrap fixed all of our issues! It snapped right in there with no plumbing glue or other pieces normally needed to connect the pieces together. It was so easy and fixed our broken sink!

This was so easy to install, I was done in 5 minutes!!! You mark the line, push together to install and you're done. I highly recommend this product - very well made - very easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Push to connect fittings have been a round for a few years but never before for waste lines like under the sink. I have always struggled with gluing or screw-tightening these fittings, until I got this one. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! I own several rental properties and I do as much of the plumbing during the time between tenants as possible. One thing that I do is inspect the sink drains to make sure they are fine. I find that I replace the drain extension pipe and the P-Trap pipe because this is the area that is most prone to leaking. Even a tiny bit of leaking can damage the cabinet, and lead to mold issues. These pipes also tend to be coated with debris on the inside, I also don't like to clean them out so I just replace them. I find tenants are hard on drains so I err on the side of prevention since the cost for a plumber after the tenant is in is a lot. They install very quick, and seem very secure more secure and water-tight that the other types of glue or screw. Literally 5 minutes and I can swap out the P-Trap on a sink. Also, I find the regular connections need additional tightening after the first week or so of use. I tighten them on installation, but I can't go back and re-tighten after that week or so of use. The connections have tiny metal "fingers" that grip the incoming pipe tightly and don't seem to back out. You don't have to worry. I am using these connectors in all of my plumbing projects!!!!!

After hounding my boyfriend to put it in with no success, I decided to take matters in my own hands. The instructions were very easy to read, and I was able to switch out my old on for the new one almost like a pro! I’ve never done this before but found it was easier than I ever imagined! Thank you for a great product and the inspiration to try more home improvements myself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new P-trap has a little innovation with a "push to fit" operation for installing the connection to the sink drain tail pipe. You don't need to fit a gasket and coupling nut over the tail pipe. Just mark a line about 1 1/4 inches up your tail pipe and in insert it into the trap at least up to that line. The couplings to the wall are standard gasket/coupling nuts. This does go in a little easier than a traditional p-trap, as a result.

I bought the OATEY 1-1/4 in. PVC P-Trap with Insta-Plumb Technology, White for the insta plumb feature and i can tell you it works great easy on and easy off but it will not come off unless you want it to, I am am doing a basement remodel and this trap is very easy to install and my go to plumbing needs i always go for the Oatey brand,i have used them for many years with no issues at all.
