Didnt fit my bath tub drain, expensive and returning

I live in a family of long haired people who shed like it's going out of style. This thing is fine when I shower, but if they shower once the dang thing just needs to be removed and all the hair manually extracted. It's a pain and I'm actually sad it took me this long to realize it.

The unit will not stay in the opened position after only two weeks of use.

It's a little cheap feeling but seems to do the trick plugging the drain and blocking debris/hair. It'll be interesting to see how it holds up to hair and if it actually functions as intended, will try to update review if it fails early.

The cutting mechanism does not work. I installed this in a tub that is exclusively used by one toddler (with thin hair). Before every bath we twist and push the stopper down firmly - which is supposed to dice up the existing caught hair. Then at the end of the bath we open the drain. What we found 30 days later was a very slow drain and upon uninstalling (a cumbersome process in itself) we found a ton of uncut hair at the bottom. The black seal also droops down, impeding flow. Terrible product.

I figured I would try it since I constantly have to clean out the drain of my wife’s hair. Install was just as easy as any other drain stopper, but I’ve taken it out to replace it with a normal one because the water drains out very slowly with the thing. There is a little bit of hair in it, but it shouldn’t be nearly enough to make it drain as slowly as it is.

Returning. Does not fit our drain. Rating based on information on package and inadequacy of "clip" option for securing in place in our drain. The screw options for securing are probably fine in drains where the stopper depth fits and one of the screws is usable.

I thought it was great at first and rated it 5 stars... but after just 12 days, it broke and it actually has a hard time chopping up the hair. The part that broke is the inside where the tabs are meant to hold it in the top position when you want the drain to be open.

My bathtub drain did not have threads, so I tried to install this using the included adapter. It did not work. The adapter does not hold it in place and the strainer comes out every tie its pulled.

Did not work at all. Actually made the clogging problem worse. It installed correctly into the drain, but when I went to push it up and down and turn it to break up the hair it would not plunge far enough down to actually cut the hair. Also, the area (slots) for the water to pass through did not allow enough flow after any hair caught in the trap. I used it for about three to four showers then through it away. Even after plunging and twisting over and over to break up the hair (which was not much in it), it drained so slowly that I had one to two inches of water standing in the tub. I was hurrying to get ready for work so I didn't have time to try and fix it. I finished getting ready and looked again before I left for work and there was still around an inch of water standing in the tub. When I got home that afternnon,it had fully drained, but there was a layer of soap and shampoo residue in the tub from it draining so slowly. I had already thrown away the packaging for both drain stoppers, so I did not attempt to return them. Instead I just threw them in the trash and purchased new regular tub stops.

Large profits I am really disgusted with profits. Outrageous. Profits. Discussed it with reviews. Just disgusted with the prices that's happening sad. Sad disgusted.

Awesome but takes longer for water to go down

For the average person it ithe directions are not understandable. I'm not sure it works yet.

Product was fine but it was installed and returned. Thete was rust on the screws.

Could not figure out how to close it.... just push really hard. You may think you are going to break it, but, Ladies, it take take firm shove. Also, you will want to take it out and clean it daily if you have several people going through the shower. Worth every penny though. I wish the top and base were metal instead of plastic, but no complaints. It works great

This device was used during a shower in a bathtub. Easy to install. Does it catch hair? Yes. And you can manually remove the hair every time the hair clogs up the device. Or, suppossedly, you can pump it to chop the hair into pieces; this allows water to freely flow down the drain. I have a low haircut so water should feely drain, except it didn't. The water rose above my ankles. I pumped the pump for added measure and the water level remained the same. Removed this after two days.

I installed it and it seemed like a good idea...when you pull up it supposes to spring apart and stay apart until you push down...however...it does not stay open and I'm unable to drain my tub unless I take it out.

Install was easy! It clogged immediately!!! One use and I returned it!

One shower and clogged the tub.
