The faucet handle broke while filling up bathtub and had to shut the water to the house off to stop the flow. Wasn’t sure what brand I had so just eye balled this replacement valve on line and was the prefect fit!

The right part for the job

Turning is a lot smoother, hot and cold dial/adjustment is more accurate. I'm not sure why I bought this if Pfister has lifetime warranty.

The original valve was 2 pieces. While this valve works fine it’s about .080” longer and could pose a problem mounting the cover plate if this valve ends up flush to or above the finished wall.

Great product...exact fit and performs as if shower is new.

This replacement cartridge Was easy to change out I don’t like the plastic stem, which is the only thing that broke. It may have had some rough handling, but I wish it was metal instead of plastic.

The bottom holes on the new piece were oval but I need round tips. After visiting several Home Depot locations you don’t carry what I need.

The first one I purchased was damage (used) . I have to return and purchase the second one .

Worked perfectly. Easy install. Less than 5 minutes.

Cartridge worked fine, the existing trim cover has a unique threaded portion that was damaged during disassembly. Pfister products are very difficult to ensure replacement parts will fit.

I have an OX8 style Pfister valve. This valve cartridge is about 1/8in too long. I still tried it against my better judgment. I was thinking, "maybe the oval shape port and gaskets cover the circular water port enough to seal it off. Could be that Pfister was accounting for any abrasion that happened to the valve body and that's why it's like this since everything I can find from Pfister says it works with this valve." But no. That gives them entirely too much credit for this waste of money.

Item appears to be similar to the original equipment. The install was easy and it appears to be operating properly. It’s only been in for a week, but I don’t anticipate any problems. I even bought a second one for the other bathroom, which I will install now rather than waiting for the leak since they are both about the same age.

Perfect match to faucet operate smoothly.

Fit and worked perfectly

Took only 15 minutes to replace 2 shower cartridges. Simple replacement: Unscrew handle, take the plate out, unscrew plate "4 screws"which holds the cartridge in, pull out the old cartridge. Replace the new cartridge, screw the 4 screws, put the splash plate and screw the handle.... Can't be easier than this....

Easy replacement. Hardest part was shutting off water to building.
