very good door for the money

The doors are beautiful, however the track supplied is not heavy duty enough to support these heavier doors. Within days of use the track hardware blew out. We had the professional who installed the doors replace the track. Remove protective plastic from the individual windows BEFORE paint--I know t

One side needed considerable sanding, the other only a bit. Also some of the plastic was difficult to peel off of the glass. Other then those, product is great!

Good solid wood doors. Took paint well and they seem sturdy. The only issue was the too track was too short to span the full length of the doorway.

I purchased this door because I needed a door between my living room and kitchen, in order to allow an air conditioner to be run in another room. This door is so well made. We are painting it white, it needs 2 coats, and it looks very high end.

Little small, but carpenter was able to make them work

The doors were well made, high quality and worked out great. Solved a challenge we had whith a six foot wide trimmed opening between our master bedroom and a sitting room. I added frosted windo film, and it is perfect. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I had to replace the brass hindges with brushed nickel.

36 x78 1/2 Is the real size .. and that's why I am giving it only 3 stars , the quality of the door is excellent but it was really a headache to install this door. I always read very carefully the description and specifications of the products that I want to buy and this door says is 80" .. I didn't return the door becbecause is really nice! .. so since the door it was nice but small I had to figured out and improvise. The rrsults are great!

We ordered three of these doors and all three needed to be sanded and splinters removed before painting. There were small slivers of wood that should have been sanded off at the factory. We had to put A LOT of work into these doors to make them look nice. One hinge was bent and we didn't realize it until one coat of paint was on so we didn't ask for an exchange. I wouldn't recommend these doors due to the fact that they are more work than they are worth. It would have been better if we just ordered a higher grade door. We usually rave about Home Depot products so we are highly disappointed.

The door is really good quality. It opens and closes with ease. I like the plastic film on the glass for easy finishing.

The doors look great. Glass panels were well covered in plastic which made the staining and polyurethaning very easy and clean. Have purchased this brand before and would do so again.

Door seems well constructed. It’s a bit heavy as well due to the glass and solid wood. Had my painter install it and he complained about the amount of work required, especially the coating on the glass.

It serves its purpose beautifully and blends in well with our house. I would have liked it to have been a bit more sanded (lots of splinters hanging off), but I guess “unfinished’ means just that.

Excellent product. No damage from shipping. Exceptional millwork. The trimmings were easily removed with a shop vac. No additional sanding necessary. Masking on glass made painting easy and was simple to remove. Just cut edges with a utility knife and peel from a corner. Easy to install.

Great door

I'm quite impressed. I got two sets of these doors to close off half of a double parlor, turning it into a bedroom at will or leaving them open to keep the open parlor we have now. These doors hung up in about 45 minutes, (after I had to cut them shorter by an inch and a half) but if you've done them before, it could've been fifteen. They are made quite well, all the many joints are perfectly mated. Might be a little difficult to replace a glass so I don't recommend you break any. We are going to paint them white to match everything else. They work easy, look great and add a touch of detail and character easily and inexpensively to our house.

Solid good quality door. Pleased with purchase

The doors were heavy, good quality and easy to install. I was very disappointed when I tried to stain the doors. I used conditioner before stain but the stain was blotchy and did not go on evenly. I, therefore, painted the doors and I am very happy with the results. The plastic coating on the glass was very helpful. After painting, I just peeled off all of the plastic and washed the windows.

The doors appear to be well built. One rail was somewhat bent, but it was still quite usable. When I made a mistake while installing the door (trying to force it into too small an opening) and broke one of the wheels, the company sent me a complete replacement set of hardware at no cost. Overall I'm very pleased with the doors and the support behind them.

Love the doors. Very sturdy and pretty easy to install.

They needed a lot of sanding and took 3 coats of paint because the wood was so rough and porous, but once we hung them, they were Beautiful! Perfect between my Dining Room and my Art Studio. They were worth all the work. If you don't want to sand and paint, get the already finished ones. But if you don't mind a couple of days work, these are GREAT

The door is a sturdy heavy door, very well made and very easy to install, reason for the 4 star was it was a lot of work to stain a door like this and it doesn't come with some kind of not or pull for the other side, I had to go buy one or there was no way to open or clean she from the opposite side

This Door in an excellent product and is very well made. It gives you a look of a very high end French Door with the Bi-Fold functionality which is exactly what I was looking for. The door is made of solid clear pine with film covered glass lites which allows you to stain and poly the door without worrying about getting stain on the glass. The door added value to my home and was easy to install. I can't say enough about the quality of this door.

High quality - definitely recommend

We purchased these to fit an archway/doorway in an old house..it took a lot of adjusting & hiding gaps with moldings but the end result looks beautiful..we painted the doors white & the film on them made the finish very clean but as others stated, peeling off the plastic was def a pain.
