The Green Supreme brand does not burn as hot as Stove Chow. Usually I leave my stove running on the lowest setting but with this brand I need to put it up one level higher.

Do they even burn?
We bought a few bags of these pellets to try before committing to a whole pallet; a friend recommended them and said they were awesome. Thank god we tried before we committed to a ton. They don't even burn. They created more ash in the 2 bags we tried over a weekend than the truly superior pellets we had been running (for more than 2 weeks). We even tried mixing these with the "good" ones and we only have to check the burn basket and fiddle with it every hour now. With the "twice the price" pellets we went with, we can ignite the stove and forget about it, and the burn temp runs about 525 consistently. With these pellets, we were lucky to get 250 for more than an hour or so, and that included adjusting the burn basket multiple times. We spent twice as much on a ton of the "good" pellets compared to this, and it was well worth the extra expense to get pellets that A. burn, B. are less ashy, and C. don't require a crap-ton of maintenance. Buyer beware.

    Works good as bunny litter
I didn't try burning it. But it's pretty decent as bunny litter, and much cheaper than other litters I've tried. It's average in terms of odor absorption, but pretty good at absorbing the liquid. I smell nothing if I change it twice a week, but it can go as long as a whole week in a pinch. And my rabbits have been fine with it, so probably not toxic. It breaks up into a crumbly mush pretty easily, so I think it will also be easy to compost.

Worst pellet fuel I have used in past 20 years
I have had my pellet stove for 29 years. Home Depot was selling Stove Chow Pellets which burn hot and clean. Can burn at least 10 bags before I have to clean my stove. They ran out and got Greene Supreme pellets. Worst pellets I have ever used. I burned one bag. Very poor heat output. Turned my glass pitch black. Fire box full of half burned pellets. Everything in the fire box black and greasy

Worst burning pellets I’ve ever tried
I recently bought 15 bags of green supreme from Home Depot only cause I had a gift card. Started using them in my Pelpro stove in 2 days the burn pot was so full of ash and half burnt pellets it was spilling unburnt pellets over the side wasting about 5 lbs before noticed. These pellets do not burn well at all. Would not recommend at all. Switched back to burning Pro Pellet and stove works great again.
