Certainly easier than microwave popping and will pop almost all kernels . Pops fast but you really need to watch as your doing this as to stop the machine by unplugging it.

Bought as a healthy alternative to using microwave popcorn. This machine pops almost every kernel! I've only used it four times, but I am happy with it so far. I use a deep plastic bowl to catch the corn as it pops, cause it really shoots out! The machine gets very hot, so it wouldn't be good for children to use without adult supervision.

This is an acceptable product, except it is a little noisey. It pops popcorn very well. It doesn't have an on/off switch so the power cord has to be pulled to stop it. This is minor inconvenience. What I don't like about this unit is that you can't do small batches of popcorn. I am single and can't eat two quarts of popcorn at one sitting. If you try to do a half batch of popcorn, the air volume throws the kernels all over the counter and creates a minor mess. Once the popcorn kernels begin to pop and fill the tube of the popper, this stops until most of the popcorn has popped and then the remaining unpopped kernels start flying all over the counter again. It leaves many unpopped kernels. The tube height needs to be taller to solve this issue. Overall this is a good unit if you like two quarts of popcorn at a time and don't mind many unpopped kernels.

Poor design. The popping shaft/chamber is not deep enough and the popcorn flew out of the chamber as soon as I turned it on.

I like this a lot. 98% of kernels pop, it’s very fast . Use a big bowl. As with all, a few kernels fly out. Only down side is that there is no on off switch. Plugging it in turns it on. Only reason I rated it good and not excellent

You're going to need a bigger bowl.Fast, straightforward, minimal cleanup, easy to use. Awesome way to make a great popcorn snack.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Presto hot air popcorn popper. I have tried different brands of popcorn, and they all work well. I use the built in measuring cup and end up with a large bowl of popcorn with very few unpopped kernels. Because I use the Jolly Time white popcorn and the kernels are a bit smaller, some of them pop out....I just throw them back in. I have discovered that if I tip the popper backwards just a little, until they start popping, only a couple with pop out. I am so happy with my purchase and highly recommend the product...I use it three or four times a week and have had no problems.

Ours looks a little different. It produces a large bowl of popcorn which is what we want. We have melting butter in the microwave because most measuring cups have not fully melted the butter when the popcorn is done.

Clever design, cord connects the two parts during storage, and the popcorn scoop rests on the top of the hood and serves as a butter melter. Works great!

This is my first hot air popper, so I have nothing to compare it to. It does a good job, no burnt kernels, but I do get a few unpopped kernels each batch...not a big deal. I tried doing a smaller batch, but I think you get even more unpopped kernels when you do that. Popcorn tasted good...as expected!

Outstanding popper

Pops popcorn in about the same time as the microwave bags take in the microwave. I have only used this organic popcorn so far. It results in large popcorn. However, it seems kind of chewy. I will try other brands of popcorn to see if it makes a difference in texture of the finished product.

Works great. A good value for the money, even though not every kernel of popcorn comes out popped!
