Cannot judge quality of product. The package arrived in a dirty resealed cardboard mfg sleeve with 1 lock missing and possibly part missing from other locki. I called customer service since I ordered it online. Was told that since I picked up in store I needed to drive back to Home Depot store to return. Total disappointment and waste of my time. For that reason I don't recommend this product.

The paint on the nose of the lever was coming off and it can still slide if you don't butt up the lock next to the window frame. Meaning, you can not leave a space for the window to open a little because a forceful pull can make the lock still slide along the frame. Better off getting a stick type of lock.

It fits well and holds our vinyl window closed with a window fan in it but the finish is coming off with repeatedly taking it off and putting it back on the window to put the fan in. The cam action is not smooth and seems to dig into the metal of the window lock. No damage to the window though so overall, a win.

Easily installed on our window and works great. Keeps it from opening further than we want fpr security. Drips firmly so it doesn't move.

Useless for vinyl windows, which is what it is supposedly designed for - a slight shove on the window, and the lock just slides along the frame.

They work great. The older models the pins would fall out all the time and I’d have to put it back together, but they have made improvements to prevent that in this new one. Works great for my side to side opening windows, it doesn’t budge.

An all metal part which has teeth to bite into the vinyl frame. No thanks.Also, the articulating arm mount is manufactured incorrectly - the cross pin mount is exactly in the middle of the handle so it doesn't get tighter as you engage the handle.

They work great and I will buy more if I need them thanks Home Depot.

They are made good but they didn’t fit my windows.

This did not fit my window. I ordered it because it was a suggestion by the website as s “people who bought the pet door also bought this”. And I didn’t know that there were different locks for different thicknesses.

Not user friendly at all!

This piece made my new "kitty" door complete. It gave me the added security of knowing that my window was secure and that it could not be opened from the outside.

These are great! Heavy duty! Stay in place very well. Makes my windows much more secure in the open position.

Works really well. If there is an emergency and you have to exit by the window, flipping the lever on this really great lock is a very quick way to disengage it in order to open up the window.

It was not obvious how to install this lock properly. The box did not show either.
