Very good product, easy to install. Does hold a lot of heavy items. A++++.

Expect to get it install in 1 hour, 3 hours into it, I had to walk away from it to calm myself down. Followed instructions to the T, install the level bottom J trim first, then the two sides. Wall is plumb, trims are level. Then the first slat, it basically broke the flimsy bottom J trim, why? The J trim is SHORTER than the plat. (see first photo) ok, moved the left trim by half inch, first plat installed. Then slide in the second slat. The second slat is 1/4" LONGER than the first SLAT!!!

Was easy to put up looks professional and holds well. Makes my studio look awesome with a wall of guitars!

Replaced wood composite 3 inch slatwall in our pro shpp retail area. Complete package made for smooth installation. Good instructions, hardware and slatwall. Wider slatwall looks fantastic on the wall. Helped move our shop from the 90s to the 21st century.

This is a solid product with a straight forward installation and great support from the manufacturer One thing I would change about the instructions would be to cut the vertical j-trims flush with the top panel, don't cut it lower like the diagram shows.

Extremely frustrating so far. You wait weeks for a product for it to show up and the Proslat cut the base J-trim to 95 1/4 instead of 95 3/4 like the directions state they need to be. Makes installation impossible. Quality control on this product is a nightmare so far. I read the reviews and was nervous. Turns out the negative reviews are right. Spend the extra money and buy Gladiator

I used this for a clamp rack in my workshop. Installation was easy and straightforward. Good instructions. I had to modify the length of my install to fit between two cabinets, which confounded the alignment on studs. No fault of the product-- its just worth considering the exact placement and alignment properly secure the ends on studs.

The product was easy to install. Anyone can easily install this. Even a novice like me this is a DIY item. Just needs the right tools. Primarily an Impact driver and not a drill! Need and Impact driver as a drill did not help and is very painful to do with and damages the screw head. Since the screws are long. The drill bit provided with the slat wall purchase was not the best and I had to buy a separate one. Apart from these small glitches the product was great and was easy to install by myself. One additional note was that the wooden column spacing though needed to be 16" apart, in a few cases it may not be exact. So what is the problem with this? Well, sometimes the ends do not completely fall on a column and have to drilled at an angle to catch the wooden column. If not the edges will be weak and may not support the 75lbs per square foot description. Otherwise, it was a good product.

I love this product. It was easy to install and makes my garage look elegant with my tools organized. Im not a handy person but this was easy to install. Now I wish I had more tools so I could buy another one.

Was’t too hard to install, my husband and I installed it in about two days. Works well And looks good for my hand crafted jewelry display.

Really great product, covered my entire garage in it, gave me a ton of extra hanging and storage space, just like anything when building, over estimate, went 1 box short of doing it perfect, made it work, love it.

Took my husband and I about 4 hours to install and definitely pleased with the results. We did need to trim some of the pieces to make even but not a big deal - easy to cut with a hand saw. Love the results: everything organized, convenient to access, and viewable. Highly recommend.

Very well built,using it between my upper deck and pool deck to hang pool tools on. Also the light gray color is a close match for my trex light gray hand rails around pool. Very easy to install and have everything thing you need in box.Work still in progress.

Works as advertised! I placed on wall of older home (studs space only 10" apart) so had to order extra bag of screws direct from Proslat. Wall now holds double the suggested weight limit per sq. ft.!

Quick and Easy to install. Cuts easily for custom fit. very strong. Hangers are expensive and only Proslat (or Huskey) ones fit, but they are excellent quality.

This hook wall works really well. For me the 20 pack of hooks was just the right amount. Easy to install, just make sure that theyre all the way snaped together before moving on After one or two gets real easy. Very strong. Only complaint is that the bottom rail that starts everything was just short of reaching stud to stud. 1/2 more word have been dead on. Just put a few of the screws on each end going up at a angle and it worked just fine.

Easy to assemble, I ordered three kits and installed it within 2 hours each. Great for organizing your area for tools, extension cords, and ladders.

The very first thing you need to do is take that bag of screws that comes in the box and throw those in the trash. I have lots of experience with cheap hardware but up until now, I've never seen a screw that was such a horrible fit to the bit (even using the supplied R-2). The problem is actually second to the trouble on the other end. If there is a poorer self tapping tip in the world than those, I have yet to come across it. They struggle even to cut through the plastic, you can even strip the head before it cuts through the plastic. Don't believe it, try for yourself. You can cut install time in half using better screws. Be sure to buy screws with a good shear rating, the wall is rated for 75lbs per linear foot which may require a higher rating than the conventional dry wall screws you may want to use. I also suggest the use of pan head screws. The bottom panel will fold in under the weight of a hanger and droop (see pic). I suggest you install an 8' strip of furring in the bottom channel. Doesn't have to be huge,.just something to fill in the gap behind the the bottom slat. Not a problem as you move up the wall as the following slats overlap and support each other. Not a problem if you don't plan on using the bottom slat to hang things. If your project can accommodate it, I highly suggest a solid panel design especially if you care about a high quality finished look. On the flip side, if you were to cut the slats down or you were trying to fill in odd shaped spaces on walls these 6" slats would be handy. You can get really creative with it. At around $129, its way over priced for what it is. I'd put the value more like $70 or so, its just extruded plastic. Overall, I'm not not pleased with the value. Especially with the poor screws and the channel on the bottom. It could be so much better if they simply redesigned the bottom channel or even supplied a furring strip of some kind. Decent hardware is also expected.

Watched the installation video and my husband and I were able to get installed within a couple of hours. We love it. Time to get organized.

We recently bought one to hold outdoor yard tools, but we liked it so much we decided to buy three more to put on both sides of storage cabinets. I had to cut to fit, but it turned out great. The four hold all our outdoor tools, ladder, and bike.

this product is very easy to install. My husband & I knocked it out in a couple of hours. We really like the charcoal color. My only recommendation would be for this product to be packaged better with foam wrap around each board, a couple of the boards has scuffs on them from rubbing together. Thankfully you can't see it unless you're standing directly in front of the wall. I would recommend this if you need to get organized and clean up your wall space. We also bought the 4' kit for another wall. If you buy this, also purchase the Proslat hook kit.

Great product, setup in basement for office/workshop area, looks very nice, very flexible.

This is a beautiful addition to my garage. You do need two people working together to apply to the wall. The studs where not 16 inches apart but we found them at 14 inches. Thus we anchored the far right end with a molly. I would recommend this product to anyone serious about getting organized and freeing up space in their garage.

The Proslat system was fairly easy to install. Time consuming based on the number of screws required, but worth the effort. Panels are strong and look great once all the walls of my garage were covered. I added studs to ensure sufficient support at the end of the eight foot sections. Stud spacing was inconsistent in my garage. Neighbors have all raved about how good my garage looks now. Lots of options for storage with this system. No more cluttered floor!

This product does not install as advertised . The individual panels do not lap snugly together (see photo). Also the finished dimension of the advertised 4 ft by 8 ft panel section is not 48 in by 96 in, it is closer to 49 in by 96 in. They would have to re-tool their molds but if they actually manufactured the product as depicted in their installation video, it would not only be stronger as in it would sit flat on the wall transferring the loads imposed by the hangers more evenly across the lap connection, but it's installed dimension could be exactly 48 in by 96 in. This may not be significant to everybody, but to someone who cares about precision and how the product combines with other standardized 4 ft by 8 ft materials (drywall, plywood) it is important to me! It will probably work fine and maybe nobody else will notice, but I know that this product could be manufactured much better.

The Proslat Wall Panel Kit provides a much slicker, cleaner appearance than the traditional peg board option for the garage. The hooks/holders that compliment (sold separately) the panel are well made and are easy to relocate with its locking thumb screw. Installing the panels can be done by one person, but you may need some help installing the bottom starter J-trim since it is very flimsy over an 8' span. Once the trim is installed, the panel installation goes rather quickly. Overall, I'm pleased with the finished product, but will take some time for my wallet to recover.

Great product, looks good and it's very versatile. A little time consuming to put up, but worth the work.
