The plates are decent and provide a solid foundation for the posts. A five-star rating would need to include a lip on the where the 4x4 contacts the plate.

I am installing white composite railings for a replacement deck. This is a solid item to attach to the bottom of a 4x4 post in order to connect to a deck and cover with a vinyl sleeve . Great item.

Updating my deck, kept the base but needed new rails and posts. I was worried about the stability but also wanted something simple to assemble. Very stable when used with the 4x4 base as pictured.

Exactly what I needed for my deck project. Fantastic quality. Solid and sturdy option when used with the 44 deck post bracket.

The plates made for easy attachment of posts for my new deck railing.

Plates work well in conjunction with good safety rails. While I would recommend them I must state they are difficult to line up on the post.

Good product. A little pricey. Posts were strong and sturdy.

Very happy with Fixplex 66. One recommended improvement would be to have a small screw hole in the center. It would help to get it centered on the bottom of the post.

Just what I expected

Great product, well made. I bought 3 packs to use on a 700 sq. deck. worked out great. Can't believe this product isn't carried in the store & the employee 'claimed' Home Depot never had such a product. Then I presented screen shot on my phone of product from 'your' web site.

Didn't need 10, better if packaged in smaller amounts.

They worked well and did what was expected; no surprises

Did not fit over typical 4 x 4 post too small. Had to beat them on with the hammer which damaged the paint. Need to be about 1/8 inch bigger
