Horrible product. Broke with in the first two hours of use.

The block is so thin it makes it hard to use anything but like a small 16oz hammer

I thought this being a bigger block it would work better than the smaller one I already have. Chipped 2 planks on my new floor I was installing because it did not lay very well on plank

If you're putting down any type of plank flooring you have got to have this.

Worked as intended, I used with Luxury Vinyl plank.

The tapping block worked well in putting the vinyl boards together.

It met its intended purpose and has been very durable.

Worked perfectly for installing my engineered hardwood floors. I’d recommend it.

Edges are not straight and damages edge of planks when tapped with hammer. Trash.

It is good for 1 maybe 2 installs,then it breaks or chips or damages the floor thats being installed

Two of them broke on me

Worked better than the block from the manufacturer. Seemed like it was easier to quickly place for tapping

Helped to set vinyl plank flooring

It does the job pretty well. It isn't 100% made for lifeproof vinyl but it did work. I did my living room with no issues with it. It would slide up.. sometimes

The plastic distorted quickly,even with genial taps

Hard plastic broke very easily had to buy 4 blocks to complete the project

The stepped edges are perfect to use on hardwood tongue and groove as well as click systems. Much better than the block that comes in the kit.

Did not last the entire job, in fact the second one was limping by the middle.

I used my Robert's black universal tapping block on every panel of Home Depot's MSI vinyl floor planks. I like this Robert's tapping block as it has two sides. One has the profile to fit over the interlock and the other side is straight. I did notices that after several dozen planks that the notched side had worn down a bit. A quick trip thru the table saw using a spacer block of wood squared up the edge nicely.
