[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer yesterday, put it together today and used it today. The assembly was easy Peezy. Except the part about removing the pressure washer hose. That was confusing and in my opinion could have been left out of the directions. That direction is there basically for the storing of the hose, nothing other than that.Other than that, the assembly was straightforward.
It took maybe 15 minutes to assemble.
Using the unit couldn’t be any easier. Simply attach hose to the unit, hit the on button and you are good to go. urn water on, squeeze the handle

Versatile and valuable pressure washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is easy to maneuver and can endure many uses. It is an upgrade from my last power washer, as it has features that allows it to clean a variety of surfaces. I am pleased with this purchase as it will allow me to grow in my capabilities as a car detailing business owner.

Parts failed quickly
I have owned this power washer for 8 months, and used it maybe 20 times for about an hour each time. The washer works great, however the components are what failed and made me leave a mediocre review. The first thing to go was the spray gun handle. I was using the washer on my vehicle, and all of a sudden the gun wouldn’t shut off, as if something broke inside the gun. I believe the internals cracked, or broke off causing the issue. Had to Buy a new handle, which is conveniently sold separately due to the failure being a known issue I found out. The second thing to go was the hose, which is not the best material. It kinked one time and eventually ruptured where the kink was. I ended up buying a higher quality thick rubber pressure hose to replace the cheap one with. Besides those issues, it has done great with pressure washing siding, driveway and walkways, my deck, and of course vehicles and ATVs. Just be leary about those faulty parts.

Great power for plug-in, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pressure washer are few days ago, the first thing I noticed was: the spray gun has about 1mm of play in it, for a DIY this isn't terrible. The second item and maybe the only good thing I can say about it is the pressure is more than adequate for a versatile light weight system. Third a probably the MOST disappointing: the hose reel; which to be honest, was the entire reason I bought this version broke right off! Plus the crank on the reel isn't large enough even for my long but nimble fingers... It's like shaking hand with a kitten... Dear Ryobi, if you want to contact me, please do, I have many ideas for improving this product.

Worked 75% well then motor would not start??? $200
Bullet Points and photos:
.Great Product, cleaned super great, easy to change nozzle tools, machine rolled well and made my house look like million dollars instead of the ghetto. I used a 50 ft garden hose.
.Used Simple Green as cleanser and it does not take much soap, but does need soap to break down dirt.
.Motor would not restart after 3 weeks and only 6 uses. Puzzled. Possible cause, I read all the instructions, it says,
Do not use acids, alkalines, solvents, flammable material, bleaches, or industrial grade solutions in this product. These products can cause physical injuries to the operator and irreversible damage to the machine.
I ran out of Simple Green towards the end, and did use Purple Power-cleanser which has an ingredient that can remove paint, so apparently this was considered a solvent and too harsh for the cheaply constructor motor-aluminum, and this seems to have stopped the motor.
I looked through all directions to see what cleansers they recommended and which ones to NOT use. So DO NOT USE PURPLE POWER. Simple Green worked fine. 4 Stars due to Instructions do not educate us on what products are safe. We are consumers not scientist.
Thanks I will purchase again.

We bought this for cleaning Pacific NW dirt and algae off church concrete steps, walks, etc. and wood decking areas. We didn't want to be storing gasoline on our property, so we went electric (note: power cord has a built-in GFI for safety). I was pleased with how good of a cleaning job it did on both concrete and wood and it's pretty simple to operate. The three nozzle tips provided in the box (soap dispenser, 15 degree cleaner and turbo clean) are enough for us. It's not too heavy and it stores in a pretty compact footprint.
Assembly out of the box was pretty straight-forward with decent instructions. Drawback: electric means you can't be too far from your power source (built-in cord plus 25 foot max extension cord), but that meets most of our needs. Also, the built-in spray hose storage reel seems to be more of a nuisance than a feature, so we're just doing the typical "wind in loose coil and hold with Velcro strap" method. The assembly instructions and user manual are both English-French-Spanish on flimsy paper, so one is a massive single sheet of paper and the other is a small booklet with tiny print; that makes them not very useful for people wearing safety goggles and using lots of water (so we made a simple two-sided sheet of operating and storage instructions and laminated them in plastic- you might want to do the same).

No Pressure out of the box
What a nightmare, i bought the Ryobi psi 2000 electric came home to assemble and the 2 metal tubes were indented and couldn't insert the handle. I went back to home depot and returned as damaged and got another one. I assembled this morning and there's no pressure at all. I am so, so dissapointed. Nowi got to wait for my daughter to help me load in my suv.

Awesomesauce!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this last week and began the arduous journey of what possibilities this could lead to. Of course, I would buy another attachment (Ryobi Foam Blaster) to go along with it. Starting out, installation was straight forward and simple. No head scratching or extra parts here. Now, what to clean....ah, I know vehicles, seemed simple enough to be a good starting point. Honestly, it did everything and then some, I had road grime built up for some 10k miles and it blasted it right off. The foam blaster was fun and a blast [pun intended] to watch my truck get all soapy and the dirt just disappear.
What next you may ask? Of course, my vinyl siding. Mind you the mold, mildew, grime, and dirt had built up over 8 years on just one side (faced a direction where it got hit with all the elements straight on). So...understanding the soap dilution and how the washer does a 20:1 dillution as it's running. I quickly set to spraying the siding to let it start its process. Now, I'm no expert at pressure washing siding and all, but I think I did a pretty good job considering I was at a disadvantage. Side is on a slope, 8 ft ladder, and I'm just shy of 6 ft, but I was thoroughly impressed by how easily the pressure took all that junk off my siding [see pictures]. This is where my testing ends, and I couldn't be happier with this pressure washer.
All in all, this was an investment well worth it. I look forward to seeing what else this is capable off.

Great Electric washer, with standard fittings.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Power washed my Cedar siding, over two days. Also got the telescoping 16 ft wand, which made all the difference. The 15 deg nozzle is too powerful for Cedar, so used a 25 deg nozzle which worked great, without worrying about cutting the Cedar boards.

Worked GREAT... until the hose busted...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to purchase this pressure washer. I had been wanting one for quite some time and decided to take the plunge. The pressure washer did excellent work and met all of my expectations until about an hour into my first wash, the hose busted! I'm sure it's just a defect, but I was very disappointed not to be able to finish pressure washing my front porch. It was able to take over 50 years of dirt and algae from the porch.

Utter garbage. What kind of lame engineer uses plastic housed valves inside the gun pro a 2000 psi application?
This is a 2nd gun that that had the same issue with the gun failing(one failed righ out of the box the second after 3 hours of on off use, third washer with a problem-The first power washer failed to power up after a couple hours. I ordered a new gun from another maker that uses brass and steel not crappy plastic housing. Skip this purchase. I never write a scathing review but this item deserves it. Also the nozzles are rusting as is the main handle. Worst tool purchase ever.
Save your money and buy something better.

Great product out of the box. Powerful enough for patio, siding, garden furniture, paves, bricks, and cars. This was an expensive investment about $250 but it is worth it. The initial reason I got this was to clean the wall in our garden as it looked like molding going on everywhere and it was going completely black. This machine cleaned the wall so good and it was super easy thanks to the black pressure attachment which is making a circular move and it removes the dirt super fast and very effectively. I've been using it to clean the wall and the fences every year and every time job is done without any issue.
Pros
*It is light weight so it can be easily moved around.
*Cleaned up moldy brick around my house very quickly
*Car cleaning has never been easier.
*Lots of power very strong
*No longer have to pay for car wash
Cons
*Expensive
*The soap container keeps falling off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son bought this for my for my 79 birthday. It is one of the best gifts ever. He cleaned my patio. After he left to go back home, over the next week I did my driveway. I have a 2 car garage to the driveway is wide. It did take me a while t9 do it by working about an hr and half a day. But, the point is I enjoyed doing it. Some before and after pics.

After 3 uses wand broke
I bought this product about a year ago. it worked great. On the third use i pulled the trigger on the wand and felt something crack in the handle. Water started running out of the tip and also the handle. I checked to see I could fix the problem but had no luck. I guess I have to go buy a better wand.

After 2 uses in 1 year
I bought this Ryobi 2000 psi electric power washer about one year ago at Home Depot and have used it twice. 10 minutes into the third use, powerwashing my fence, something popped in the gun and water started leaking out of the handle. Now it has stopped building pressure and it is practically useless. I understand there is a limited warranty but i would need to take it to a certified repair center to have them determine if there was a manufacturers defect and whether it will be covered under warranty. The closest service center is 11 miles away and after calling them they said they’re not accepting any new items repair for at least two weeks. Now I’ve officially spent more time trying to get this unit fixed than actually using it. Buyers beware of this inferior product and even worse follow up service. Don’t be fooled by the cheap price tag. You get what you pay for.

Great pressure washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift came at perfect time ,it does great at washing our vehicles though we did purchase a foam cannon For to be honest not quite sure on how the factory one will work because all we did was used the foam canon we bought. Love that is electric no need to worry about fuel or oil so I'm not worried about my kids using it or the wife it's lightweight and simple to put together and the 3 year warranty is great to have .

I purchased this today to replace my 20 year old large gas pressure washer. I have been happy with my other Ryobi products, and I like the three year warranty, since it will only be used a few times per year. It only took about 15 minutes to put together, with only one screw to put in! I purchased the 12" surface cleaner also, and put them to work on my concrete driveway that had not been cleaned in 30 years....uugh. Thick will southern mildew and years of dirt, I decided to do a first pass without using any cleaner to get off the top layer. This thing was amazing! The pressure washer was easy to use, just turn on the water and push the button to turn it on and your set. I ran it for over four hours, and it took off all the mildew and grime with no cleansers! Whoever invented the surface cleaner is brilliant, it is fabulous and worth every dollar. The detergent container is easy to access, right on top of the machine, with a large opening that will hold almost a gallon of cleanser, and will automatically dilute your cleaner. The 1/4" standard quick connect makes changing nozzles and attachments easy, and will make it convenient to purchase other interchangeable accessories that are on the market. I like that it has a GFCI built into the power cord for safety. It is lightweight and pretty compact. If you need more than 55' in length, you'll need an extension cord. I purchased a 50' 12ga extension cord and a portable GFCI safety outlet. I am really happy with this pressure washer for my around the home needs.

No need for gas power for the tasks I need to do around the house.
