Too heavy. Not powerful enough.

Easy to assemble and use, great product

Lightweight which is nice but wished it had a bit more power

With the extender attached, it would be nice to have a handle on the lower end towards the blade.

Purchased this kit in July 2021. I should have removed the battery and started charging it right away. Well I didn’t and it is bad. Rubio customer service was great though! They sent me a new battery. Unfortunately it won’t charge either. My other batteries charge fine with the charger that came with this kit. So now I have two of these batteries that won’t charge. Really sucks. Ryobi did try though. Just sucks the battery they sent me doesn’t charge as well. The tools work great though.

Cuts great. Very sharp. Heavier than I expected.

Does what I need it to do for tree trimming in the front of house, but is very heavy and bulky when fully extended

Works great. I wish it was a little lighter. I also used it to cut down some brush around my shed. It worked better than a weed whip.

Unit works great. Plenty of power. Does take some strength to handle with the extension on. Would recommend for sure.

Worked great at first. I trimmed an ivy hedge and oleander sapling easily. I put it away for a couple weeks, came back to use it, and it wouldn’t work. No click, no noise , nothing. Tried two different batteries from my 40 volt ryobi lawnmower. Nothing happened. I returned it to the store and they wouldn’t give me a replacement, just refunded my Home Depot card which I had already paid off the balance. Now I supposedly have a credit on a card I rarely ever use. Beware that if you buy online from Home Depot, and need to return the defective item, you cannot get a replacement from the store.

The assembly was easy, but it is much heavier than advertised. I like that one is able to adjust the angle of the cutting blades, but it is difficult to figure out what angle of the blade will be most effective.

works great, is light weight and easy to maneuver in tight places.The angle adjustment is great and helps with branches and hills.

Not sure I'm happy with it. It cuts ok but not really long enough. And I prefer a pole that I can expand by just turning and pulling out. Maybe you can't do that on battery ones. And heavy to use of it's at full length and using for a bit.

This hedge trimmer was the best birthday gift! It cuts smoothly and holds a great charge. Used consistently for nearly an hour and used less than 1/2 the charge. Highly recommend!

easy to put together, easy to charge, Trimmer did the job of cutting top two feet of hedge to keep it looking great.

I bought the hedge trimmer to replace a worn out one. The new one was great until it quit. Never gave any indication of quitting. Just quit. I had it about two weeks. Home depot just replaced it. And the new one is working just as good as the first one. I get good run time on a 4ah battery. Very easy to use.
