Decent shovel. It’s held up to heavy use so far. Only complaint is it wasn’t strong enough to cut through some wire grass and sea grasses easily. Took quite a bit of elbow grease. Great for typical digging though.

installing a mailbox utilizing a 4x4 treated post. Hole needed to be larger than a post hole digger would provide. This spade worked perfectly for the rocky clay "soil" I encountered, resulting in the perfect depth hole.

I bought two of these trenching spades about 15 yrs ago, i still have them. This was purchased this for a family member, I know this is a solid gift. The only thing I wish is the had a longer handle with this size shovel. Still a solid tool to have.

Performs as expected. I bought this spade for gardening. The weather has been very dry and I was able to push through very, dry, hard clay soil.

Sturdiest that was sold at at the Seymour store. Would have liked a 2-4 inch shorter blade.

Shorter than my old one, and metal does not appear to be as heavy as my old one (Lighter gauge). Time will tell.

This shovel cost more than the Home Depot brand but I believe its a better quality shovel that will last. I've used it once and it performed well.
