Quality machine endless hot water

Bought this unit to replace an older model Rheem tankless water heater that was over 15 years old. Paid $500 for a local plumber to install, and it came out great. If you don't want to install yourself, pay for a local plumber to do the install, because I looked nto the Home Depot professional install service that they offer, and they told me that they start at over $3000 even for just a simple swap out. This water heater is great, I love how quiet it is, and it kicks on at a much lower water flow rate than our old one. Before, we had to wait for the toilet to stop running for the water pressure in the house to build back up before the water heater would sense enough pressure to kick on so we could wash our hands. Thankfully not the case anymore with this one. Now, even turning the sink on to just a trickle, the water heater will still kick on. This unit comes with everything you need, (valves, power cables, etc.) besides the concentric vent kit sold separately. This vent kit can get pricey if you need to run it all throughout your house. We only needed the smallest kit they sell, which is the 90 degree bend and the outside vent itself, so we paid $90 so not really a huge deal. Love endless hot water! I'm hoping this one will last as long as our old one!

Pretty straight forward install. The concentric vent was a bit of a surprise and expense but I got it handled ok. Excited to see how it performs.

So far it performs great. Temperature is controlled even with two showers and two faucets running simultaneously.

I bought the ECO180DVP3 model from Home Depot somewhere around 2010 or 2011, anyway it just went. I have terrible water, it's a dug well and it's hard water. This thing went for much longer than I expected (10 year warranty), I'm getting another one and slapping it right where the last one was.

Heater was easy to install … instructions very clear .. have only been using it for a week now but so far is doing great

It was the wrong one it came in a natural gas box

Works for our home as described in the description. No cold spots. very happy

Professionally installed per directions. Unit threw every code known to man. Replaced with equivalent Rinnai, also purchased at Home Depot. The Rinnai worked flawlessly.

Had a little trouble starting correctly, some loose fitting fixed and all was well

I hate giving it a poor rating as it might have been fine had the published specifications not been so misleading. It just said there was just 5" exhaust, but what it had a 5" CONCENTRIC exhaust. It would have needed much more work than I could afford to replace my old heater.

The last tankless lasted 15 years. We hope this one will too :)

The rheem tankless was easy to install in the place where the old tankless heater had been. the only issue was the vent pipe was not available locally and had to be ordered.

No hot water after install. Large plumber bill trying to trouble shoot with Rheem . No solution found faulty unit.

Replaced to this model same gpm works like a champ.
