Kind of a pain to put in. This was my replacement for a standard water heater that's way a pain. but once installed it works great, very quite. Rheem is an excellent product. although as with every tankless unit, it take a little bit longer for the hot water to get there, But once there you'll never run out.

This Rheem 8.4 GPM runs my 2 baths, kitchen and washer all at once with no problems. If you are looking to upgrade from a traditional tank water heater to this you need to do your homework. Order the vent pipes and the heater online because no one carries them in stock.

You have to research the product and learn how it works before you buy. The center exhaust is stainless steal so, yes it will cost you a lot of money...

It's a good unit and can be easily install by yourself. Only problem is the exhaust vent. Make sure you order the right amount of sections or you'll be waiting for another delivery since you can't just buy it in the store.

RHEEM JOB. I got rheemed when it broke 3 months after warranty ran out.Circuit board supposedly bad,but i refused to put $950.00 into it. Make sure you have it installed with quick disconnects,this way you can throw it in the garbage when it breaks. Rheem warranty is nothing but a waste of time, especially Maria or Val, or any of the other useless people that work in Tech support.

Came quickly - but needs a special venting - which is on back order until the end of May! Nowhere does it say online that you need to purchase this special vent! - they need to disclose that when your making an online purchase!

Ordered this product online and it arrived quickly. Had it professional installed by a plumber. It takes about 4-5 minutes for the hot water to start coming out which is a little too long in my opinion. After only four days in use, the igniter failed. We had to have the plumber return to diagnose it and Rheem did overnight the new part to us at no charge. It was difficult being without hot water for two days but it has been fixed. Rheem also advised that they will pay for my plumber to make the diagnosis and repair. I am submitting the invoice to them today - fingers crossed that they honor it. Disappointing start to an expensive upgrade. Hoping we don't have any further problems with it. Not sure if I would recommend this product yet. Time will tell.

Do not buy this water heater!!!!! Exhaust kit is over $300 and is impossible to find anywhere. The first time I plugged in the unit it blew up the control board. I couldn't take it back to the Home depot. Has to call Rheem's. Their customer service department is awful! Picture yourself getting interrogated by the police. They were looking for a reason to void the warranty. I had to hire a Electrician at $85 per hour for two hours before the company would offer to send a new control board. Rheem wouldn't take my word that the plug was a 110 volt system. It's currently day 10 without hot water at my house, with no end in sight. NIGHTMARE! You've been warned!

Would not consider ever buying anything but a Rheem. I own 4 of them now at my businesses and homes. I have used other brands and will never purchase another brand again.

Very good price. Everywhere I looked prices were really expensive .

Be aware that Tankless Water Heaters may be efficient but consume a lot of energy in a short period. I also have a gas furnace and range and found my 3/4" gas service was not adequate. I ended up returning the unit.

hooked it up , turned it on and bingo it fired right up, no trouble shooting, I couldn't be happier so far
