The product description was not accurate

Good replacement door frame for wider-framed openings. I put this in place of a water-damaged frame after a major tear-out and repair. It is solid and reasonably machinable. I suggest a router only for the mortise of the hinge. The material doesn't respond like wood, so you have to have the right tool to get a clean and easy cut.

I was very pleased with the quality of the product. It did have a bow in the vertical sections. The bow was not easy to correct for installation. The material is very clean, rigid and very durable. I would definitely use again.

Great product, well measured, needed very little modification to install. Only had to route for hinges and latch and shorten 3/4" for threshold to rest on the floor. Very easy installation. Recommend to anyone.

Good product. They sent two lefts and we had to do some manufacturing to make one a right. The good news is that they happened to be long enough to accomplish cut and re-manufacture. We would have returned them, but we needed to complete the job.

These worked great for replacing the door jambs for my garage. The old ones where about 14 years old and had started to rot. These will never rot.

The vinyl jambs will never rot and in this application it was the perfect answer as I have replaced these jambs before . A perfect answer to the problem . Too bad builders always go with what’s cheaper for them. I would have used them last time but the homeowner wouldn’t listen . So he had to pay

The jamb was as expected, good smooth finish.

Just as described, perfect for my use. I just took sections to replace frame at bottom where rotted. Solid PVC with weatherstripping.

Exactly what was advertised. I will replace all my jams with this pvc product to eliminate the Florida coast destructive climate.

Door jamb was perfect fit, doesn’t need painting. Very nice weather-stripping.

After a lot of online research, I found the best price for this PVC door jamb at HomeDepot and ordered it. It was delivered very quickly. It was very easy to work with and installed without any problems. I no longer have to worry about the weather rotting the wood jamb. Well worth the money.
