Vigorous shaking is critical to ensure all the textured pigment is well mixed, shaking often during use. Hold the can 18-24" from surface and spray in a steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface. Keep the can in motion

During the painting process is it just as important to shake vigorously to ensure the textured pigment remains blended in the can, this allows for proper spray.
