Works great if you have old style outlets but doesn't work with Decora or GFCI style. An update would be nice.

Most of the cords in my nursery are box plug, not the small two prong outlets. This allows a box plug to be plugged into the top outlet but of course then it covers the bottom outlet. Also, a thicker cord (like the one on my child-safe electric heater) doesn't fit in the slot to come out from the case.

Does not fit a cord for a power strip. Would only fit a very thin cord that does not require grounding.

I am on the fence about this, it works great for generic two prong plugs. It is to small to sit flat on the outlet and will not allow the box plug on our baby monitor or router to plug in without the top attached. It is also to small for the three pronged basic tv plug. I wish it was flatter and the top was wider.

My 3 year old was unplugging and trying to plug back in, he is my Hudini child. I have gotten numerous child locks and guards. This one was most useful!!

works great and keeps kids safe

Perfectly fine for covering a traditional duplex outlet, with a single screw in the center, but it will not cover a Decora-style device, with a screw top and bottom. Other brands do this, though not available at Home Depot.

Functional and safe. Keeps my daughter away from electricity in a clean way. Only change would make would offer more paintable finish or different colors.

Overall this wasn't worth the price. It's very rigid and does not work with all plugs. Would not buy it again.

This cover is NOT white as the description says it is. It is actually very off white in color. In order to use this to cover cords plugged in the outlet, the cords have to be very, very thin. I had a power strip cord plugged in the outlet and the cord would not fit in the spot for it to come out of the cover. I ended up returning this item.

PROS: easy install, very secure (you have to put some finger strength into opening). CONS: Bulky yet very limited use (my power cable is thick and comes at an angle and did not fit), no color options (we have white walls and this is ivory), you require your own screw to put plate in.

Not large enough to store larger plugs. Also not much space for cord shorting. Need to return.

The cord hole is small so it doesn’t fit anything that is larger.

Good to protect my kids

Product replaces existing wall plate. But easily installs. Had to trim a little extra plastic that was left over from the mold. Very easily snapped in place after that. Very secure. Little hands won't be unplugging anything.

Did not fit my outlet with electronics attached. Not easy to use
