Such a bad product. SOdangerous
this is the worst range i've ever owned. so bad that i'm throwing it out after less than 3 years of use. it has a major design flaw. if cooking on the back left burner, the steam can make the panel conpletely unresponsive. so if the oven is on when this happens, you need to pull the oven out from the wall while the oven is on and gas is flowing, so you can unplug it and reset the panel. samsung did try to replace the motherboard, didn't fix it. they even replaced the entire range, still had the same problem. so now im left with no other option but to buy a brand new range after less than 3 years! i'll never buy another samsung appliance as long as i live.

    Good while it lasted
    for the price it has been a good. have enjoyed this oven/range, but once again the warranty is up and the regulator to the oven, or the thermocouple is going out. havent had time to pull it out and pit a meter on either. it takes about 20 minutes to reach 350f. the middle burner could use a few more btus

      the control panel freezes , i have on many occasions had to unplug the unit to reset it. also any amount of steam that touches the control panel activates the oven settings.

        Panel melted and oven does not work
        the panel has melted and is warped. also the bottom oven has failed 2x. the 1st time it was under warranty so they replaced the oven ignitor. same problem arose again the next year.

          multiple problems
          we've had to have the repairperson fix our stove, purchased in 2018, multiple times. we've had problems with burners and problems with the oven not working. of course the oven and range always seem to fail when we have guests on their way. there's no way i would buy another samsung stove. my mother bought an lg stove years ago and hasn't had a single issue. when it does work, however, it works well. but it's unreliable.

            Pcs of crap
            i have never had a worst gas range- had to change the plastic panel for control 3 times now the light button does not work need to unplug the range to re-set - all sort of error codes pop up and shuts down??? the metal grill cracked - my wife and i have decided to donate the item and purchase a new machine by the end of the year.

              Knobs are cheaply made and break
              bought this range in august of 2018, within a year, two of the stems on the control knobs had broken. i contacted samsung and was sent tow replacements under warranty. within 3 months of receiving the new knobs, two more of the original knobs stems had broken. since the stove was now past the one year warranty, all samsung could offer was i could buy two replacement knobs at the cost of $65 each. i declined and made do...a bit frustrating that these defective or poorly made knobs cost so much. now today another knobs stem has broken. i started to leave this review, and the site asked me to call samsung to give them a chance to make it right. i did and was told that since the range was out of warranty, they could offer nothing.

                Hate this oven. Hard to clean. If you lean against or hit the knobs by mistake, next thing you know the gas is on. The oven is not consistent. The boiling burner is not very strong. Takes forever. Don’t bother.

                      Range Dead Flashing Display frozen display
                      i purchased this range in the end of 2019, just as the warranty expires. the oven breaks i can stll use the top burners if you light with a match lol the display flashes, blinks, and freezes. this unit has turned into a 700 dollar lemon. do not purchase any samsung products.

                        Oven is an absolute nightmare
                        this oven is a complete danger. it started overheating to the point of not being able to event touch the control panel. one of my kids burned their hand on it before i realized. panel then melted and oven locked. tech came out and thought it was fixed but it continued the same issue. unbelievably disappointed that this oven is still on the market as i read countless reviews of this safety issue.

                          Black Stainless Finish Has Issues
                          we bought our samsung range in october of 2018. while the range has performed well the durability of the black stainless finish (paint?) is disappointing. soon after the warranty ended the coating on the front panel behind the knobs started flaking off. 2 years from new it has peeled off more then halfway across the top. while writing this review i was prompted to contact samsung about any issues i had because of the 3 star rating. i did & they couldn't care less! don't waste your time. samsung got our money once, it won't happen again.

                            Beware of common issue
                            this oven worked very well for about 9-10 months. heated up fine, etc. after that, we began to notice the 'bake' function was having issues. it appeared that the igniter was working properly, but the gas was not flowing properly. a quick internet search led to a 30+ page *samsung* community post detailing how the issue is most likely the gas safety valve and the fact that samsung does not recognize this as a defect. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/kitchen-and-family-hub/samsung-oven-not-heating/td-p/115697/page/35 *to samsung: don't leave me some canned response message below this review. take care of your customers or lose them.

                              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought MY SAMSUNG FREE STANDING NX58R6631SS RANGE 6 months ago and i am so happy with its features.The main reason i choose the two front burner with 16000 and 18000 btu power burner. Before buying this i compare different brand and different ranges but this was the only one that has 16k btu left front buner. I am from punjab India .Every day i make fresh chappati and vggeis for 7 people .I needed a range which can save my time .This samsung range is cooks fast.I am very happy with my purchase and the led lights on the knobs looks beautiful and life saver in the house with three kids.I will buy another one for my new house.

                                Great stove
                                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 12 year old Fridigaire .It took forever to preheat the oven. Turned bread making into an all day affair. My new Samsung has a breadproofing feature that now frees up a half a day. I love it! The burner grills are a bit off putting because only certain size pans fit on some burners. But it is so much better

                                                  Grate bottoms keep coming off
                                                  We have owned this oven for less then a year and already had to replace all 3 grates on the stove. The rubber stoppers on the bottoms of the grate keep coming off. Now I have to replace the replacement for one of the grates bc that one is now losing the rubber stopper on the bottom. They cant send you a new rubber stopper. They have to send you a whole new grate. What a pain. I sure hope that I dont end up getting charged for these new grates since they have proven to be defective. Pick a different oven unless you plan on never using the stove top.

                                                    my disappointment is the design of the stovetop grates... im not able to use the pots and that are 3, 4 and 5 inches in diameter. i was shocked to see that the pot does not sit properly in the center of the burner due to the large gaps in the grates! the only way is to offset them over the grates! .... i am very shocked that samsung would manufacture stove grates that do not accommodate all sizes of pots and pans!!!!

Repairman showed up 3 weeks after stove was delivered with replacement part so we could actually use the oven. Replacement part was also broken. Now looking at another 3 weeks for a new replacement part.
