    10 month update
    Samsung Dryer has been great thus far. at first had issues with actual drying. found out that the dryer was fine but my receiving duct was clogged. I asked my sales specialist about the issue and was advised to release the duct from the wall, drop it into a bucket and look at the abs port in my wall. Turns out that upon inspection, I found water and lint built up. nasty smell and murky water to say the least. Delved into it and was perplexed at why water was in the abs port. My friend helped me observe the situation and brought with a spline, shop vac and I provided tools. We dove in and cleaned out the line and pulled lots of lint but the water was a concern. Discovered that my air outlet was reassigned to the ground level and the sprinklers had flooded it with 20 gallons on water over the last 10 months. Once all the water was cleared out, lint removed and a few pieces added to prevent water fom going in, our dryer works better than ever and it's only 10 months old. Clothes dry quick and efficient and proper ventilation is definitely flowing through. Point being, check your ventilation port all the way through. You'll never know what's lurking in there obstructing your dryer. Love our Samsung Dryer

        This dryer has an internal gas leak. Samsung has sent out 3rd party technicians twice, problem still not fixed. Samsung is not a good choice in appliance....period. Items are made terribly and trying to get warranty work done is a complete joke! The matching washer broke also, Technician out 4 times still not fixed. Now own two pieces of junk. Again stay away from Samsung!

          I am a little disappointed. I ordered both the dryer and washer from your website. when they arrived and were installed, the dryer door opens the wrong direction. I did not see anywhere on the website direction of door. The person that delivered and installed it said it is not recommended to switch it to open the opposite direction. Frustrated buyer!

            Run from this dryer. Has not worked well in the seven months we have owned it and have tried a variety of things. Big loads, small loads, sensor dryer settings and time dryer settings. None of the various combinations resulted in less than 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours drying time. Finally gave up and called Samsung for service since this is under warranty. Good luck with that - the service consultants are trained to give you a variety of things to try (all of which I had done previously but tried again). After my 3rd call, I had to demand a service tech. That is another hurdle - they have to find a service tech and supposedly I will get an email in 24 to 48 hours. Who needs this garbage? We bought an entire suite of kitchen appliances as well as the washer and dryer. I assume I will have the same horrible experience if I have an issue with any of those products.

              Purchased this dryer in November, by March the drum had stopped spinning. Called for warranty work, guy comes to fix it and realizes its not what he thinks it was. Then asks for our original paperwork, which I had on hand luckily. As he explained, if I didn't have it, he would have left without fixing the dryer because the over the phone diagnostic was wrong and that's only what he was sent out to fix. But because we could prove we were the original owner, he could proceed to fix the issue on his own assumption. This makes no sense, thought the repair man was supposed to repair?! So he tears into the dryer, can't find anything wrong, but proceeds to replace the tensioner because he "has to replace something!" It did work correctly for awhile but now it makes a horrible screeching noise and of course the warranty is over. I've been told by three different repair men that samsung appliances are all junk!

                Efficiant great capacity and Features
                I bought this Electric Dryer along with a matching top load washer to replace 15 year old ones. It's not easy replacing products that have never failed you but buying newer more efficient more cost effective is sometimes a great idea and in this case I truly made a good decision and do not regret buying this Dryer nor it's matching top load Washer was the best decision I have made. Purchased 09/04/2018

                  it wasn't drying my clothes good, I really had to put my clothes in three times for it to dry good. I thought it was because I didn't know how to use it, but no. I tried everything and still the same results. Do Not Buy It!
