Do not buy!
purchased in 2015. after 4 years of use the dryer stopped heating and we had to have it repaired and the heating element replaced. now 8 months later the dryer stopped heating again.

    I am incredibly disappointed by this dryer. For about a year and half, all has been well. I will say, I don't think the preset setting are great, but you can modify them so that's fine! I often have to dry blankets or towels for a second rotation because of that. However, 18 months into owning this dryer, we cannot get the drum to turn off and the heating feature seems to be broken. The only time the drum stops rotating if we open the door. The power button does nothing and it seems like the settings do nothing either. Upon further research, I found other folks had this problem too and have gathered it's a control panel issue. We've tried unplugging, we've tried flipping the circuit breaker, nothing helps. I don't know how this dryer got close to 5 star rating if this is a common problem. I've reached out to Samsung and the warranty is expired and they seem to be offering support for this issue. I'm incredibly disappointed since we spent hundreds of dollars on this appliance and it is basically brand new. I don't think I'll be buying a Samsung appliance again.

        Seems to take a long time to dry the clothes. It also has a dry sensor so if it thinks the clothes are dry it starts cool down mode and the clothes aren’t dry yet.

        Do not purchase Samsung Front Load Dryer
        I purchased dryer less than 5 years ago, and while most will say things today are not made to last, I expected to get more out of this dryer. The idler needed to be replaced and total cost of repair was $200.00, which I regret paying. I should have just purchased a new one, and my technician advised me to stay clear of Samsung as parts are difficult to find and very expensive.
