It seems to be working just fine. (no leaks) I'm working on a way to actually find out my water pressure. The hose bibs are separate from the interior of my house. Hose bibs are 110 psi straight from the water meter. I know these are preset at 45 psi but I would like it to be around 55 as the water runs thru two separate whole house filters which reduce the pressure.

I do not normally review, but this was so bad I had to. Bought this after the guy at the store recommended it. Easy to install but upon turning on the water I had Immediate and intense water hammer. Thinking I had done something wrong, I looked it up and found all the other reviews. Tried to adjust the pressure as recommended, but as soon as I would get it working with one fixture it would immediately come back. Never was able to find that sweet spot. Immediately took it back and got a proper valve no issues or adjustments needed.

SharkBite regulator is easy to install and works as designed....
SharkBite regulator is easy to install and works as designed. I chose it because the regulator was located in a tight area where I did not want to use a torch. I feel the SharkBite products are worth the extra cost.

In the past I have charged home owners in excess...
In the past I have charged home owners in excess $200. to install a home pressure regulator and after the purchase of this shark bit unit I was able to install it in 10 minutes and needed only a tool to cut into the PEX water supply line and installed the regulator. This item is priceless.

The pressure is pre set a bit low at 45lbs but it is adjustable. I just left where it came pre set. Working well for me after a week. I am going to buy a few more for my mobile home park. Quick and easy to install.

Hello EJ, we apologize for the issue you are experiencing with your SharkBite 3/4 in. Pressure Regulator. The chatter or hammering is generally caused by low-flow high inlet pressure, where you have a high incoming pressure and are drawing a very low flow (flushing a toilet). It can also be caused by high-flow low inlet pressure where your inlet water pressure is close to the pressure setting of the valve and in high demand scenarios (taking a shower while running the dishwasher and washing machine together). We recommend that you adjust the pressure set up or down 1 full turn from the factory setting of 45 PSI. This usually fixes the issue. If you are still having trouble please call our Customer Service Team at 1-877-700-4242 and we will be happy to help you with this issue and resolve it for you.

One end needed to be slip. This one is great for loose fitting applications (plastic pipe, copper with movement available) but for ridged fit, created extra work. Could not locate the one with slip SharkBite on one end. This only applies to repair work
