The bit was lame. Invest in a a few good ones for a big project.

The only connector screw I'll ever use!

I used these screws to attach the fence mender and they work great. Hopefully these stand up to the elements and last a long time.

They did exactly what I bought them for. I thought they had a self drilling tip. I was wrong, but they screwed into wood just fine anyway.

Reasonable enough quality for the price. They don't start quite as easily as some screws and I managed to snap a couple of the hex heads off using a Ryobi drill/driver. Way, way easier than driving nails in many situations.

Works great. Easy to unscrew and adjust the hanger if needed.

Used in conjunction with the ZMAX galvanized heavy tie plate to secure & stabilize a section of wood fencing - the hex dead screws were amazingly easy to use with the tie plates & produced a very tight & secure repair.

Came when expected. The price was good. These are great and recamended for use with the Simpson strong tie products.

Good strong screws for mounting post brackets. The screws come with a 1/4" hex drive socket to drive the screws (very nice). I used an impact driver to drive the screws and had only 1 failure in 1 1/2 boxes of screws. Good product.

I used them to put together my new raised bed garden boxes.
