These are great Hurricane Ties! I have used & still do the Single Strap but I prefer these over them. They go on easily & provide a huge secure mount to the Rafters to the sill plate or support beam. I have noticed when working with long 20 foot 2x6s they can be a bit flimsy if not secured down properly to the Support Beam & Sill Plate. Great little investment to assure a solid Roof Deck!

first off the Hurricane Tie plate in the picture is NOT the one that You get. Instead You get a H-1 A that is made difference than the H-1.. The H1 is what that I wanted and they sent the H1-A and that # is stamp in the plate so I don't know what the problem was.. So I called the help line # and talked to a man in Va. and he order some more of the H1 plates at a reduces cost to Me and the next day when I got them they was the same as before H1-A but 1 short in count.. So I get on the phone once again and this time I end up talking to a man in Ca. and again He order's some more at a reduce price and again the next day I end up with 30 more of THE WRONG hurricane tie plates.. now in the end either the people that is filling the order's CAN'T SEE or CAN'T READ because the # is clearly stamp in the hurricane tie plate as H1-A not H1 as they have picture and IF THEY was to look at what they was shipping and the picture of the one that they was selling they could tell they was NOT THE RIGHT item

This item worked well and was easy to install. Fits snug and the nail holes are well spread. The price is reasonable for what you get.
