As expected and quick shipping!

Came with a blemish that went all the way throughout the wood. Surprised that no one saw this when packing it for shipping.

The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I purchased for a non stair project, ordered 2 and both had way less then desirable sides, could have turned down for stair but caused me to have to sand extremely deep to remove bad areas leaving depressions

I ordered seven of these long treads. All were straight in both dimensions - not cupped or warped, which is surprising since usually I have to pick out treads in store or order extra to find ones that aren't cupped. They also were free from scrapes or defects. Nice product from Stairtek!

Treads arrived in good condition. Although, these are not directional, it would be nice if both sides were sanded to finish quality instead of just one side.

I was nervous shipping to my local store. I hand pick my lumber, and I have narrow tolerances. I bought the 48” in the store and went through all to get my 11 perfect boards. The 60” had foam on both ends, and the box was tightly wrapped. Each tread was perfect and had no damage.

Ordered and it arrived in like 2 days. They don't sell this size in the store but you can get it here in a couple of days. Excellent quality.

I ordered this stair tread online and had it shipped to the store. I was expecting to pick up an oak tread just like those in the store. I was not only impressed by the quality and how good it looked but how well it was packaged. It came in a sturdy box packed with Styrofoam sheets completely encompassing the tread. Absolutely no damage or nicks in the wood.

It's What I ordered and it accomplished whatI set out for it to do

I ordered 15 total. 8 of the boards had cracks in them and 3 had saw gouges in them about 3" wide and 7" long. They were also covered in glue on the ends and had to be resanded. These are not solid red oak lumber as advertised. They are glued laminated strips with wide variations in color.

No complaints. These treads worked perfectly and looked ok. Dark spots on one side so we flipped them.

This product was of good quality and made an amazing difference to my home once installed. No sanding was necessary when I added the polyurethane coating. I did not use any stain as I wanted to bring our the natural beauty of the red oak.

Thought I carefully read the product description that this step was solid wood, not solid wood over particle board. I should have known for the price. It's a bit heavier than I wanted but is solid and very square so if the sides of your step don't show I would recommend this.

ordered on line picked up in store. got them faster then first stated. the treads were just perfect,no knots and were in great shpape

some of the treads had only one good side but was able to use all the treads.these are better than the ones that are sold in the store.a good product at a fair price.

Nothing is as beautiful as a Oak stairway. These treads came to house shipped by HomeDepot in about 4 days. Very fast delivery and the wood itself is beautiful and solid. no dings or splinters anywhere to be found. I just finished installing and have stained them. They look great, makes even my workmanship look great. Perfect product for the DIYer.
