Easy to build and easy to use. It has a good amount of power to do the job and my soil is mixed with rocks and roots.

Works great, perfect for what we needed to do.

It is very good at tilling thru the grass and clearing it out if dirt. It does not till very deep but worked great for what I needed it for. It was easy to handle. I am an older lady so was perfect for me.

Tiller worked well on compacted clay soil. Light and easy to handle.

Worked like I expected.

This little tiller tears through dirt easily and worked well for my raised bed preps. The only issue were rocks that get jammed between the tines and housing. A hammer does the trick or removal of the tines which is not difficult.

My Sun Joe came a day early and was easy to put together (the handle) it only took a few minutes. I have no previous experience operating a tiller. I found it very easy to start and operate. I used it on a 15 x 15 patch that had been tilled before with a much larger gas tiller. It broke up the clumps that were left and made a nice bed for planting. You do need to be mindful of where the extension cord is. I do not know how it would work on hard packed ground. I think it would work if you took your time - it is electric and you want it to last. I also use it to till between rows to keep the weeds out. The depth is adjustable. It would be nice if it had a hanger on it to keep the extension cord.

This tiller has amazing power for it's size. It was only useful in part of my yard because, certain areas had severe root growth only a couple inches below grade. Those areas would have required a massive industrial-grade machine to deal with 1" thick roots. Within the realistic capabilities of this small tiller it did a very good job. The wheel adjustment could be a bit smoother.

This electric garden tiller/cultivator performed just as I hoped it would. I had an old flower bed that had not been touched for years. After removing some overgrown shrubs and landscape fabric buried under inches of debris, I found soil so compacted that it was nearly impossible to to even use a shovel to loosen it. The Sun Joe tiller turned the soil quickly. I was then able to adjust the blade depth to add compost and fertilizer. This tiller is the perfect size for the home gardener, light weight and easy to store.

This is our second garden Tiller, but first SunJoe. We are very happy with it. The size is perfect for getting into smaller areas. This is strictly for garden work, definitely not for major, whole yard jobs.

This small wonder was amazing! I can’t even tell you the amount of rubble, concrete, tile etc was left in my dirt from a rebuild. This mighty Joe hit some big rocks and still plowed through! Amazing and now the back yard to do.

Did a great job. Excellent for smaller garden areas and easily transported so you can help friends and family.

Works great for house flower bed preparation

Wow! When I opened the box my first thought was, this is a toy. Then I used it! It works great. It is small and it takes longer to do a larger area, but it is also easy to handle. It digs in and gets after it! It's funny to see how it finds rocks and kind of tosses them out lol. Not loud, anyone from a teen up can use it and it can get into smaller spots.
