Does the job without too much noise

Works well to spread the heat through the apt. having one in 3 different door ways. They are a bit loud, but works for what we needed them to do.

The fan works great, just a little louder than I'd prefer. But does exactly what I bought it for, to transfer warm air to next room.

This was as I expected. Quiet and easy to install.

The fan did a good job moving air. Helped keep second story rooms warm that were usually cold when outside temperature dropped below 20.

We have a ranch home and a pellet stove that keeps our home very warm, sometimes too warm in some areas. So we put this fan in our hallway to move the air towards the kids' rooms. The main drawback- it's loud!! It is not quiet, and very, very noticeable. It comes with a longer cord, but not enough to properly mount it in the position it should be, and the on/off switch is located very close to the fan unit iteself, so turning it on and off is not easy since you have to get a step stool every time. We notice some difference as far as the air movement, but not like we expected. Wouldn't buy this particular brand/model again.

I mounted this as instructed but the biggest issue is that it just moves so little air, especially considering how much noise the blades make. The problem lies with the design. There is just too much open room at the blade tips for the air to take the path of least resistance and move off the ends of the blades rather than towards the designed air flow direction. So the result is a tremendous eddy current of random airflow that occurs around the fan housing; this is what you feel when you put your hand up near the operating fan. However, there is little air flow in the intended direction so you get very little movement of air from one location to another.Returned to Home Depot for refund. This explains why the pile of fans they have are very dusty. What did work well was to mount a fan from a computer power unit in the door frame. Lots of airflow with little noise. Yes, it had a bit of a Steampunk look but that can be changed with a little window dressing.

Works as advertised

It moves air nicely. The big concern I have with it is the noise level. It is VERY loud and makes the TV get turned up and frequently means the fan gets turned off. A fan turned off defeats the purpose of having a fan.

These little fans are awesome. They are quiet and push a lot of air. They work great at pushing the air from our fire place room to the rest of the house. I highly recommend them.

The fan push's heat to parts of the house that i had hoped it would.

Alot of people say that this fan makes alot of noise. All fans are going to make noise and the more air flow you want the faster the blades need to spin therefore it will make more noise. Plus this is a small 5" corner fan it needs to be spinning fast if you want to move heat from one room to another. It makes no more noise than a window fan does. For the price its well worth it

Yes, it is loud. No, I don't care. I installed three of these in my house to hopefully move the HOT air from our pellet stove throughout the rest of the house. Since installing, the electric heat in all other rooms has not kicked on once! Each room has stayed between 68 and 70 deg. because of these!

The fan works great, but it is noisy. I would like to know how to quiet down the motor.

I love this fan. It redistributes heat from our warmest room to other rooms.There was a small snafu... when I opened one of the packages, there were no mounting screws. We found some in the junk drawer, so we were ok.Great product!
