I bought one of those cheap waterfall fountains, well if you call cheap over $100, but less than $150. LOL Anyway, I modified the Waterfall fountain so it could have the bowl {drilled out for water to pass in/out of the bowl under the water} to be partially submerged into my small round pound in my garden {see attached photo}. The original factory pump that came with the waterfall was very lame, barely got the water to the top of the fountain, so I was looking for a more powerful pump to get the water flowing and to be able to hear the waterfall sounds, water flowing and falling down each level into the pond. This pump fit the bill and has worked flawlessly in the fountain for many years now, with only having to do minor maintenance {cleaning gunk out of the intake and flow input areas} to the pump. It runs continuously 24 hours a day/7 days a week, and only off when any required cleaning is needed of the pump or the fountain/pond. Definitely worth the change over, the old factory pump was recycled to a smaller indoor fountain where it is now living it's life out in, also running 24/7 with the occasional cleaning. But this pump has been worth every cent I spent on it to replace the original that just couldn't do a proper job of flowing the water efficiently enough to the top of the waterfall fountain. This pump has a 3 prong grounded plug and is submersible, and the water flow{pressure} does an outstanding job with this particular Waterfall fountain.

I use two of these pumps, one for a Waterfall Bird Bath that has an upper level that rain drops into the lower larger bird bath area. I lost mine in a move, possibly got thrown out in error, and this pumps work great for the birdbath, the 2.5' height is perfect as the pump is hidden in the lower bowl and flows all the way to the extension above the upper bowl, it actually pumps a little over that 2-1/2 foot range in this particular birdbath fountain. The other sits in the basin of a small pond pumping water up to a water bell, not as far a distance as the pump in the bird bath fountain. Both pumps run continuously 24 hours a day/7 days a week and are only off if and when I need to do any cleaning maintenance to them, the bird bath or the small pond they are in. They are a super little pump and it{they in my case} get the job done and do it very well. I am very pleased and satisfied with their performance.

I purchased this pump for my very small koi pond at home. After 2 days it stopped running. I took it out, cleaned it throughly, applied a pre filter bag because maybe it was overwhelmed by the invisible algae in our pond. Placed it back in only for it to stop working after 2 minutes.Returned it and exchanged it for the exact same but new model, this time applying the pre-filter prior to starting the pump and it lasted 5 hours. Total Pond=Total Junk

We have al small fountain which our neighborhood birds love as well as the animals at night. The emdium size pump does exactly what we need and we are very happy.

My fountain is about 3.5 feet and it barely puts out water. I wish I had purchased a 600 gph pump

Needed this for a small swimming pool. It worked great and fast. The three different sizes were also handy for the pool toys.

I have a small patio pond with mosquito fish and minnows. I got this pump to keep the water circulating and for light water sound. Today, about three months later, the pump started making an awful rattling/grinding sound loud enough to hear while submerged. After an hour of that, it stopped working altogether. That said, while it worked it worked fantastically!

Pump it self is good but a problem can't find any connection tubes to connect the tube pump to the tube fountain Home depot tubes carrying limited, also Pump too.
